Hilarious, fun & was intriguing. I’ve got a halogen desk light and it gets very hot.. I might try cooking baked beans on a plate under it with the halogen light hovering directing above it. 👍

The metal ring is the extender ring it comes out of the stand before you put the glass bowl in and the weird contraption is a set of tongs to remove the racks / trays when hot...... maybe you should have read the manual..... the timer dial CAN be turned anti clockwise, and the sausages are hard because you cooked them too long and hot also they weren't cooked by light, they were cooked with heat, the light is a byproduct .
How much electricity does that halogen oven consume Danyul? I've heard that powerful lights with a high wattage can get very hot and use a lot of energy. So it might be worth cooking more than 2 sausages in it. 🔥
The metal thing you can't see through shouldn't be there. It's a spacer that sits between the bowl and lid as required. Take a look at the illustration on the box!
little tip if you have a small dish that will fit under the sausages to catch the fat you wont have to wash out the glass bowl every time you use the cooker, most things cook around 200 , i use mine everyday this lady shows you some good recipes ruclips.net/video/50MtEx8TS_c/видео.html theres loads of videos on youtbe
