Alright cool. This helped me out. I was trying to hold an anterior pelvic tilt to try to put pressure on my discs away from my spinal canal, but I'm pretty sure if I kept holding that position I was going to end up giving myself stenosis. I can tell it's healthier for me to hold a neutral spine and neutral pelvis.
Seems to me that strengthening the hamstrings (vs stretching) would take some folks OUT OF Anterior pelvic tilt. Strengthening the LOWER abs as well? Am I on the right track here?
Definitely. To balance anterior pelvic tilt it's necessary to strengthen glutes, hamstrings and abs. Apart from that, it's better to stretch psoas, quadriceps. Notice that the thoracic part should move well to remove stress from the lover back. So stretching pecs and lats if they are stiff with rounded shoulders will be effective. This is from my experience. Good luck 😊
