- This week Dave takes on Pali Face off of the Pallavicini Lift at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Pali Face is one of three runs off Pallavicini with a vertical drop of 1010 ft over .4 miles! This run is surprisingly wide, especially in terms of black diamond runs.

A truly iconic run, especially on a beautiful day! It offers different lines with different experiences, as you note. A Basin is not about glitz and glamour. It’s a legendary ski area for true skiers. In that respect, it’s similar to Alta, Jay Peak, Grand Targhee, Wolf Creek, and Mount Bohemia. The best of the best.

Does this only get sun during the spring?
Essentially! It see's very little sun during December and January. It gets more and more sun as spring comes.
@@howtoskiit damn, when I went last month it was the krusty krab out there but I still spend most of the day there and had a great time!
