A-Basin, CO - ◊◊ Pali Main Street to Pali Wog (2-11-24) [4K]

Yeah, this one's pretty tough. I'd been working my way up more and more difficult trails all morning in preparation for this one and it was still quite a doozy! It was steep, sure, but the real challenge was just from a lack of stamina after the first couple turns. I got a lot more confident on the bottom half, maybe because it was a little less steep or because it was after an opportunity to catch my breath.
As I mentioned in one of my community posts, this is probably the most difficult trail I've skied so far, though Moseley's and National Chute at Palisades are pretty close and it's hard to tell. Either way, this was actually a pretty enjoyable run, but I do wish I had better stamina out here!
I am very aware that my shadow betrays my skiing form here. Before you go and insult my abilities, please know that I understand that there is much room for improvement and this is just a step in my progression with challenging terrain out West. Being supportive of others is just as important as form or physical capability in this sport - not everyone is as good (or as snarky) as you. Thank you for being kind!
Advice: This is the easiest way down from the hard stuff on the Pallavicini side of the resort. That being said, it's still quite hard! It's more or less standard moguls all the way down, but I think Standard is a good trail to try first since it has a pretty steep section that mirrors the sustained pitch here.
Technically this run ends with a narrow traverse called Pali Wog, but it's pretty negligible compared to Main Street so I'm just going to lump it in as one trail.
