Love it! With bluetooth off on my phone, it used 3% battery per day. This with heart monitoring off. Just basic stuff, tell me the time. It's really good, tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating, good battery, cortex M33 chip that has many things integrated (read some of the specs, 750page manual). It has motor for vibrations, used for alarms, countdown timer, notifications. Has customizable watch faces, shortcuts to apps that can be customized, brightness control, can show weather info. It turns on by tilting and you can tap with 2 finger on top area to turn off (or cover it). You can add alarms on it (without phone). It can show details on each section, without going into phone. It syncs data to the phone. Phone can push call info, music song info, it can control volume or play next or previous song. Quite a lot of features for 50 bucks.
Great video. Thank you for the superb information. This is the only smart watch that I would need since I like to keep things very basic. You have helped tremendously.
Thank you! This is my issue too. Just wish you could have shown how quick that process is. I would have loved to see that in real action to see just how simple that process is. Seems like a great buy though
Thanks for the great info. As a senior, way behind in new tech stuff. I just purchased this watch but haven't received it yet. I have a Fitbit Sense Advanced but it is always having charging problems so wanted to try something that wasn't too expensive. Your explanation of the Amazfit really helps. One question though, you say you use different phones for each watch.... I only have one smart phone and it has the Fitbit app on it. When I want to use the Amazfit watch, can I have the Zepp app for that also on the same phone? Would I have to "uninstall" one app to be able to use the other app? I know I'd have to turn off the watch not in use probably, but not sure how this all works... thanks for any help you can give to a new and "older" user.
Very informational! I was looking into brands for a change. I might go this was, but I would prefer better sleep tracking. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Amazfit / Zepp part of Xiaomi? I did give the Oppo Band 2 a try, but the HeyTap Health was garbage, so I had to send it back. Currently, I go back and forth with a GW4/5 and the Pixel Watch.
Okay so I like the apple watch galaxy watch etc but when you compare it to this and similar products It makes you think of what you need. You want a mini smartphone on your wrist or a basic smartwatch. This is why the apple watch and similar products only have 1 day battery because of the advancement and apps
Haha I thought I was the only crazy one ,have the original bip since more than 2 years(orange) ,the bip 3 green ,the galaxy four ,the Amazfit Trex(great watch)and the Apple SE 2nd. I always do comparisons with the sensors and the Bip doesn’t nothing to envy’s with the others ,of course basic functions even sleeping quality (Amazfit/Amaizingfit)
I own an Amazfit Bip S Lite and the first one was DOA. It wouldn’t turn on out of the box. I sent it back, got a replacement device and don’t think I will ever do another Amazfit. The watch had great battery life for 3 weeks to a month. After that, the thing doesn’t last a day with all settings turned off except it telling time. At some point, the battery life just tanked. If I turn on features like heart rate monitor, message alerts etc., it’s dead in a couple of hours. Just a warning to anyone considering amazfit. The second one failed after it was to late to send back through Amazon
I found, that a lot of people who have had covid tend to have slightly lower blood oxygen levels even though they've been over it for quite some time. So I do think that there is some long-term damage that occurs, because this is what two of my other sport watches actually read. I never get above 99%. And in most cases I'm usually hovering around 96.
A toy? Try Temu! I got a fake Xiaomi smartband. Without its app, it can't keep correct time! It was $3.00. One that looked like an Apple Watch was so cheap, I couldn't even use it.
I love this guy is so shameless about not being satisfied with 1 device for years I took love to switch phones very often sometimes I like boxy phones like the note sometimes I want a curved edge and not so sharp corners like the vivo v27. Anyways I'll never use an iPhone!
Don't buy amazfit watches...it's not even switching on..customer service won't even respond...if you want to buy first try reaching their customer service...
Getting mine today! I still own a 2019 Amazfit bit watch, and never had a problem with it, still running good!
I have a T-Rex 2 from Amazfit and I like it very much, however ever since I started using a Pixel Watch I've been hooked and have not used the other

Thank you for all these great comments. It looks like a great, basic smartwatch from a reputable company.

Glad it was helpful!
Would the GTS 4 mini be a better option than the BIP 3?

It's as described. Sign in on the new phone and in about 5 seconds you're rolling. It even logs you out on the old phone.

I am still using original bip, which is akin to a pebble, 3+ weeks battery life and amazing with Duo and notify for fitness.

100%. I don't use 95% of what modern watches can do on the day to day lol.
Great points. 😊

So what do you recommend that doesn't break the bank at $500?

I can about the review sir. Im about to buy it now so I really appreciate the info.
Does it have a microphone and speaker so you can answer phone calls with the Amazfit?
I just bought it for my eighty two year old mother. She loves it
I use 2 simultaneously as well.
Bip 3 still holds my top spot for ABSOLUTE best bang for your bucks. Like by a very large margin. Even the Bip 5 didnt compare in my opinion.
Does google maps mirroring from a phone works?
Love my og bip! Great battery!
I can't be charging my damn watch every two days....
When I travel to some countries I use the Amazfit and its enough

If my watch worth $200 I will
Still have one from Amazfit (2019) and never had a problem with it, still working good! Like any products, there is always some lemons!
