- Despite the downward trends we've seen in model data regarding the weather likely to occur out East, the west coast and especially California is taking a lashing brought on by atmospheric river storm systems pummeling the Pacific coast. This pattern is likely to persist for another week, urgent info needs to be relayed to our west coast viewers as the risk for heavy rain, strong winds, and a blasting of snow rises.

You were born on February 1, 1994? I can tell you the 1994 hurricane season was pretty quiet. Where in February and I think February is the snowiest month here in the Northeast and I also have a feeling that when March comes it’s gonna be in like a lion out like a lamb but we also have to prepare for the springtime weather especially in tornado alley where we could see the standard storms produce not only damaging winds and hail, but also tornadoes. And then it’s all it’s a hurricane season where The possibility of development with the car around the Gulf of Mexico from the Florida panhandle to Texas, but only if it survives the disrupting winds. Tomorrow’s groundhog’s day for some locations it might be six more weeks of winter for others. It might be in early spring!

16-17 February will be getting busy here. Cooler weather continues, which means El Niño is holding on and AO is going back down, meaning winter is not even close to being done. Expect lows in the 40s and by mid February, first February frost in years possibly.
