I've been making them at home for years. My dad will call and ask for them now. Beck in the 80s when I was a little girl a local pizza parlor made them. I never saw them anywhere else so I started making them around 2000 for my family. I believe people have started making them frequently in the last couple years in scattered places.

Tartar burger is big on the east side of the USA. Big boy resteraunts is the establishment. They are delicious with cheese, lettuce and tartar
