My FT3-DR is awful at receiving any shortwave. I have a cheap VX-3 that received a million times better even using the rubber duck while my FT-3 is dead. I just can't imagine how you are receiving Decent SW on your radio. Can we hear it?

i have an FT3DR and it doesn't do what you demonstrate in the video if i push the band button. is there a setting i need to change?
