    You have to heat the end laps so it bonds together no 1/4" bleed out anywhere.

    Sloppy work, plus stacking on the shingles. I'm glad there are roofers like this out there. Keeps me busy going on 38 years now!

    I like how they paint all there burn marks. On the walls, pipes, good job guys stay up north. That roof would not last in Florida.

    how do you drain water and snow? is it pitched properly to drain? I want to see the drain. I don't think these roof do well. Most people just let the contractor do it and every three years it leaks. This is the sad part, in winter regions the old homes have flat roof. I am sure 100 years ago these roofed had drains but now a day any one can be a contractor and they don't bother with the snow load or drain. Contrary to that most roof in warmer weather is pitched. Some are too pitched to even be accessible. Flat roof with drain should be installed in warmer region not in area where we get snow.

      I was just thinking that the area looks like some of the older areas of San Diego. Lots of flat roofs, or a mild pitch.

      It is Californiaif I'm not mistaken, another sign is the clay tiles on the roof next door. Up north we really mainly have flat commercial roofing, very rarely do I see flat residential roofs in my are, but there are some flat roof additions

    • @advancedue476

      The roll they are using before they torch down is heat resistant, ice and water will burn up quick if you torch directly to it

      I agree it's all scuffed u can see the product not sticking and also all the bubbles. Only as good as the teacher. I'm fired for this shit here. Wearing heavy boots with sharp edges marking up the roof. Rookie maneuvers.

    Que tal trabaja el tri ply para trabajos comerciales y donde neva mucho

    • @Garciasroofing
      @Garciasroofing  8 лет назад

      te refieres al CDX plywood? el cdx esta diseñado para techos planos por que no se rompe al caminar sobre el y esta diseñado para moverse al haber un temblor

    • @Garciasroofing
      @Garciasroofing  8 лет назад

      el OSB esta diseñado solo para slope (caida) donde no se camina mucho por que el trafico lo daña se despegan las particulas de plywood, lo puedes usar al menos que tengas buen soporte como spacel sheating en un techo plano

    • @melvinhernandez8632
      @melvinhernandez8632 8 лет назад

      Ok gracias,,,mas bien me referia al torchado,,,es Bueno para techos comerciales y se puede poner directo sobre el osb?,,,que tal es ese material en lugares donde neva mucho,,,y que brand don los mejores,,,gracias

    • @Garciasroofing
      @Garciasroofing  8 лет назад

      oh perdon , te refieres a Base, smooth and granulated torch down.
      el fabricante te da 25 anios de garantia del material, y no importa en que clima lo instales , el material esta hecho para el frio extremo y el calor extremo.
      lo que si hace la diferencia es el instalador .
      espero haber contestado a tu pregunta.
      saludos .
      Eric.
