So I decided to find a local spot to stay the night in my stealth camper van conversion / stealth camping minivan. We came across a great spot in a little town in Wales, and parked up our stealth camper van conversion near the castle.
Info on my stealth camper van conversion / stealth camping van / stealth camping minivan : It's a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, and I removed the rear 2 seats so the car became a 5 seater, and I'm able to to transport the my boot jump camper conversion kit around while still retaining 5 seats all the time.
This DIY micro camper build is basically a homemade boot jump conversion kit, and I based it on the Amdro boot jump, which costs around £2500 - I built my own self build micro camper for fraction of the cost, so I could do stealth camping.
I'm pretty new to this stealth camper van conversion stuff so I would love to hear your suggestions to improve my stealth camping minivan - feel free to leave me a comment! I also hope my channel gives you some ideas for your own self build micro camper using a boot jump conversion kit.

great vid, still watching your vids now with my wife, where you parked your mini camper, i used to walk down that road to and from school every day, abit further down, me and my sister were chased by cows lol, they had escaped from the field

I like the way you think about your short trips.
With your vehicle being the car version do you feel its not a target for tool thieves when using the black outs like the van version would be?
Exactly this! I didn't want a motorhome because there are lots of places they can't get to because of their size. I also needed 5 seats a lot of the time (7 seats occasionally, I can put the rear 2 seats back in easily) which is why I prefer an MPV over a van. Also like you say, nobody ever tries breaking into an MPV for tools, so it's ideal for stealth camping, and doesn't stand out on a residential street.

Yep, it's opposite the Anglesey Arms in Caernarfon. Just be careful not too park too far along as part of the road seems to be under restrictions now. Enjoy if you go there, super spot!

😄😄 We only stop over for 1 night usually so easy enough to grab a shower at home have a quick swill with warm water, but we've got a portable shower which we're going to take out soon on a few longer trips, still trying to work out how it will work with the setup 🙂
