Just a little tip, I’d recommend moving the pretty blue dress away from the window, the natural UV light from the sun can damage and fade it over a surprisingly short period of time! However, awesome job!

Jessica Vill I think that would allow for less damage, however I’d still be careful from exposure over long periods of time. It’s super gorgeous, though!!
@@jessicavill if you are worried about UV damage you can get window panels/tint "peel on" window covers that provide UV protection for cheap on Amazon! They aren't perfect, but I got them to protect my clothing and furniture and they work like a charm. 😊

Why is everyone so suprised that she can use power tools and can do basic house remodeling? My mom can do this stuff and even yard work. Women can do EVERY type of work a man can do. I know men who can't do this basic type of remodeling work. It depends on the person, not their gender.

I love it! Tip: the curtains should slightly puddle on the floor, and a gold curtain rod would be aces. Maybe a gold and dusty pink ornate rug? Also, a little gold footstool so your pup has a step to get on to your bed.

@@jessicavill I'll be sure to check out on Ebay, as for my local thrift stores, not too sure about that. I live in Orlando and there's not a lot around where I live. I do know that Winter Park has some but I haven't got the chance to check them out. I also went to one near shake station (after I saw your video that you went there, so obviously I had to go), but the vintage store there didn't have any :( music boxes are hard to find in local thrift stores 😅

I've seen so many vintage room tour I felt this room really looked vintage. I'm a lover of things 60s and 70s.
This is probably one of my favorite room makeover videos ever! It's also like my dream bedroom, but I highly doubt my Hubby would go for a Princess room, so I'll live vicariously through you! The daybed, the vanity, and the chandelier are sheer perfection, and the choice of a daybed definitely makes the room seem much larger.

Wow! My family has been restoring a Victorian house for the past few years, and we did almost the same pattern with the wall trim. A tip to making your curtains fancier, add valences to the top and use lots of layers and tassels to make it look Victorian, also baseboards and crown molding make any room fancy 😄

That is so sweet!!! If you want a suggestion, what about a little coronet-or one of your tiaras- to be the top to a bedhanging, swept out to each side of the day bed to the ground? The inside curtains could be white or cream satin and the outer could be lavender or pink, held up slightly by a little gold cherub at each side! Then a pouff for your doggie to jump up on. You could encase the chandelier chain in a tube of ruched or wrinkled silk, in pink! Then find in a charity shop of circular rug under the chandelier of flowers in pink or blue. You could paint the ceiling light sky blue with a few fluffy clouds! Two net panels for the windows will give you privacy and a bit of UV protection too, and you can loop them back either side on a tie back! Otherwise it looks great and lovely as it is!!! I love the idea of a princess bedroom and you made it happen!

I love it! I dressed very vintage(y) yesterday for Thanksgiving. I had on a dark green pencil skirt, a white chunky sweater tucked in the front & my tan oxfords, my hair was in a low bun. I got told I looked like a school teacher. I was so happy lol. 😁😁😁
