Before we could afford to buy a house my wife and I lived at the Shiloh Mobile Home park across the river from the new park for 8 yrs and loved the scenery there. I remember the 97 flood there and the water got past the floor in the mobile home we had. We are now retired and ride mountain bikes around the area and can’t wait to go there and ride.

The address given in the official website goes to a dairy farm, not confusing at all…

Lots of mosquitoes, flood prone to the max , mud ticks etc . WHAT ABOUT REHABILITATION OF TURLOCK LAKE…. MUCH MORE PUBLIC FRIENDLY!!!!

Turlock lake is owned and maintained by TID I believe and they should be the ones to rehab the lake at least that’s my understanding but I do agree it needs to be rehabbed.

@@BIGEUSMC for the past 5 years I have contacted both the state and TID! TID is responsible for the irrigation. The state had been responsible for recreation . The state then hired a private company to manage that piece. The vendor quit and was not replaced! In my opinion the park should use state employees thereby keeping the park maintained and collect fees from the public. It is a shame they spent funds for another facility and not maintain their current one.
