I definitely need to upgrade my buzzbait game, I think I have 2 buzzbaits, and can't remember the last time I used them, but I'm sure it was before the grass grew to the surfaces.
First and favorite buzzbait I ever used was a Lunker Lure. It's a big fish bait!! But I also use the Head Knocker that you mention. Which one I use depends on the conditions. I also make some from scratch using components I buy and assemble at home. I agree with the soft rod, but I use 17-25 pound mono, that works best for my setup.
The gman buzzbait is what you are looking for 1/4 ounce with. White blade i really like the triple blade too don't remember who makes them but you can reel it really slow and it still stays up
Buzzbaits, wakebaits, and crankbaits are my 3 favorites for muddy water, cloudy fall days. If there's a little bit of sun, I'll throw a spinnerbait. Good stuff brotha'. That swimbait/buzzbait combo is GENIUS btw. I have a couple mini chatterbaits and I rip the skirts off and use swimbaits on them. Ill try it with a buzzbait, thanks.
I have only two lures in my bass fishing arsenal that I can't seem to catch fish with. One of them is the buzz-bait. The other is the Jig. I mean, both the swim-jig or the traditional jig, and it's not like I haven't tried. I must just be holding my mouth the wrong way as I'm reeling them in. Can you suggest any good cusswords I can use that might get these baits to catch something? All of my goto F-Bombs or SOBs just aren't having the desired effect with catching fish.
😂🤣🤣 I have your jig problem solved. Buy a couple of Cumberland Pro Lures Pro 3?8 oz Caster Jigs. Put a 3' Yama Craw on it. You will catch a few. Sounds like you have the 4 letter words in check!!
A lot of good information on buzz baits. Fall is the hardest time for me. Will be trying a buzz bait, for sure. Thanks a lot.
Thanks. It's frog time.
Killer top water bite coming up this fall man! Nice footage
Ya man I'm looking forward to it. Thanks
Crock-o-gator 1/2 and 1/4oz, Scott C dirty jigs buzz 1/2 white and black, and my sneaky one is a dura buzz by jackal.
Sweet. Thanks for the suggestions Nick.
@@TheTinHorseMonty that dura buzz is tiny tiny tiny.
@@Greaternickfishing COOL. I caught a few this summer on an 1/8 oz Strike King buzzbait. Sneaky fish catcher on calm days.

The Picasso lures rusty squeaker, toad slayer, & hog snatcher have been fantastic for me. Need to try the crock o gator buzzbait.
Appreciate the feedback Douglas
I really like a straight tail bait on a skirt less buzzbait. Currently using the Crush City Freeloader on a 1/4 War Eagle buzzbait.
Thanks for the feedback. That sounds like a good choice. Probably looks really good.
Love the buzz bait. Tnx for sharing
