We’ve done tent camping and the cabins at FTW and it’s my favorite place to stay. The second door on the cabins is an extra exit for the bedroom in case of an emergency. Fun fact: the cabins are actually mobile homes. When they updated (replaced) them a few years back, there was a place in Florida that was selling off the old ones. 😊
It's called a Calliope. Walt bought that himself. He loved a good circus. He bought a bunch of old circus wagons and things for the movie "Toby Tyler or 10 Weeks with the Circus". The studio restored them all. The WDW calliope use to be sent up and down the east coast and mid west for parades
This Fort Wilderness section is something I was impressed with when D / W opened. EVERY kind of accommodation is available to the public; from tent camping to the Grand Floridian. Amazing choices (but, how many think of this when booking a place?) Thanks Kyle for this excellent tour of the 'wilderness.' 😊
I'm not a camper or outdoors person, but this resort was pretty cool. Love the cabin -- so cozy! The best part was seeing Taylor for a few seconds. 🙂 Thanks for taking us on another one of your adventures, Kyle.
You really committed to that hat 😂 you need to come back and do the night tour of decorations and then the Christmas decorations 👍🏼😁 I really want to stay there 👍🏼
There’s some clean cuts and edits in this video Kyle!! 😉 Love it! We booked two rooms at All star movies but now I’m thinking we should have just booked one cabin!! Looks so fun.
Happy happy Friday Kyle, Mr. P and everyone! ☺️💝🎃🌷 We’re not campy people either KP (didn’t have great experiences as a teen roughing it with our church youth groups ..plus yes! Can’t get over the Blair Witchy vibes yet either.. lol) …but these cabins and grounds sure looked super duper nice! Hey! and $250 sounds really really reasonable for all that nicely themed space and amenities! Especially for being on Disney property!! My brother-in-law from Indiana will be heading down there for their fall break with his family and two dogs soon and they’re staying in the cabins. I’m gonna tell them they’ll definitely have to watch your video! Golly! Just LOVED everything about this video!! Thanks for taking us along KP❤️❤️❤ Glad you are enjoying Kyle 👍🥰 Have a wonderful day everyone!💕😘
I loved this video. You did a great job showing your cabin and all that Fort Wilderness offers. I also liked that you had facts about the resort area. I appreciated every time that you moved your camera to capture your parking etc on the golf cart. Nicely done
Oh wow the memories! We stayed there like 20 years ago (omg) too. The cabin looks exactly like I remember it! My parents put all the kids in the room, my brother and sister fought for the top bunk. And yours truly, the youngest and smallest(me!) got the nice double bed hehehehe
We have stayed in the cabins several several times and have LOVED them for years! We are now full time RVers and stay at Fort Wilderness in the camp spots now. There are SOOOO many wonderful Disney resorts but Fort Wilderness is one of the few (without spending $$$) resorts where your room is not attached to another room. We love Fort Wilderness. We bought e-bikes specifically for transportation at Fort Wilderness! Thanks for your vlogs!!
Very cool. This is my favorite resort. The cabins are perfect for people who kinda want the camping experience, but don't care for truly roughing it... LOL. I've done both - and the older I get - the more I want the cabin experience! Love that you got to see the Halloween decorations. Very impressive that campers plan their trips to decorate at the fort! They do this at Christmas too!
It is really neat that you would do a video on the other side of experience with camping! That really gives a fresh view! Great content! Keep up the good work!
Fort Wilderness- The MEMORIES!! this was always my family's go-to resort growing up- except we tent camped 😳 now i'm more of a cabin girl in my "old age" 😄🤣 these cabins are on my list! And I totally remember the video where you "unboxed" that hat from Taylor! LOL Hi Taylor!!! Always the absolute best seeing her on the vlogs, even for a few seconds!!
Yes. About 24 years ago. After a day at Fort Wilderness water park. Which was one of the first water parks. And my favorite. It was a fun weekend. Enjoy
We have stayed so many times in the cabins and in our 5th wheel camper at the Fort. Our kids grew up mostly going there because at the time it was the "cheapest" place! And there are so many fun activities. LOVE The Fort!!
Thanks for showing the room. I have always wanted to stay in these rooms. Such a value for larger families. They are huge. I would budget the car, too far to walk all the time.
What a great price for that cabin! WOW! My son is a forestry major - when asked if he wanted to try those cabins - he said why would i fake camp - i can real camp anytime - LOL - he chose Wilderness Lodge instead. I think i will show him this and we may try it for our next vacation! THANK YOU FOR TAKING US AROUND! Wendy Lady
Those are bear and animal proof garbage cans- Love the cabin it reminds me of the place I stay at every summer! Kyle sometime over the summer you should go up north and tend a cabin with your friends that would be an look vlog! Also there is nothing to worry about staying in a cabin-it’s super fun when you have friends with you tho-you can make a lot of memories😂
Awesome video!!! Honestly, it was hilarious and I needed the laugh. I feel like your videos are meant for those who want a taste of the park and to have a laugh. You definitely can still find/play checkers at the Magic Kingdom. They’re located on Tom Sawyer’s Island and near the shooting range in Frontierland. 😊
The cabins look so nice! We stayed in a similar setting when we went to Calloway gardens. Our cabin was two bedrooms, multiple porches. We really enjoyed it. Might have to try this one day! Thanks for sharing
We have stayed in the cabins on two different trips and absolutely love them. We are DVC Disney Vacation Club Members and would give anything for these to be a part of it, as they are truly our favorites. Best kept secret...until you showed the world. LOL
Props to Taylor for your cool Fit! She really is your best human. Wondering if you can rent a cart for 24hrs and spend a whole day/evening enjoying the resort amenities even if you’re staying at say, Pop Century. It looks like a great non-park day adventure!
Just stayed for a night in April until we moved to the lodge. Had 3 sites of family camping for 12+ nights. I’m Dvc and got wilderness lodge as my home resort so I can still join my family camping. Grew up camping every other spring break at Fort, from Canada 😊
A cabin at Fort Wilderness is on my bucket list but pleeeease reveal how you got the night for only $250. You must be one of their favorite Disney Vloggers . You deserve it for all your research and advertising for them.
We've stayed a couple times at the cabins and are headed there for Halloween soon! Halloween at the Fort is amazing! They do an awesome golf cart parade and honestly we had more fun at the fort on Halloween than we did at Mickeys Not So Scary! Note that unless you're staying at the resort, they're becoming strict about who can come in on Halloween Night. The cabins are awesome choices for families with kids because you have space but also if they get lous...like kids tend to do, you don't have to worry about them bothering others. We love the Fort!
That's a silly and fun looking hat you was wearing😅 and the cabin is beautiful, I also enjoyed seeing the Halloween decisions and that custom golf cart of Mater was awesome!😊
We stayed in the cabins for the first time ever this past may. We loved it! Can’t wait to go back with more family members! Love how easy it is to get to Wilderness Lodge, we ate at Geyser Point many times!
Yes the tash cans are usually in wooded areas/National and state parks. The trash cans are to keep raccoons (trash pandas) and other critters out of the trash!
Your commitment to wearing that dangly hat is more than I would have with them constantly hitting my face! Lol. Isn't there another sit down restaurant near that resort?
Love this have stayed in the cabins it is my favorite place to stay. The lake is cool at night and watching the parade as well. The halloween decorations at night by the RV campsites is one vlog in itself I know Resort tv does it yearly and its cool. Love you can take a boat to the parks. Renting a golf cart is a must as well. One day does not do it justice but you squeezed in a good overview.
You make me laugh Kyle! I’m disappointed I didn’t bump into you last week during my stay at WDW. Your tips helped me a lot - especially the single rider line-up hack!
We stayed there 25 years ago with our 3 children we had A-tent we scraped and worked to be able to take them but they loved it the fishing everything everything so glad they did not get rid of this
First ever trip to Disney World in was in 1994, and we stayed here. Layout of the cabin was much different, but this still brings back memories. Another great video
We are going to be at Fort Wilderness this weekend! It will be our first camping trip in our new pop up camper. Can’t wait to set up camp. Thanks for giving us a cabin tour. It looks nice.
Halloween at the Fort is by far the best. We drive our camper from PA to Florida every October except this year we decided it's way too expensive. There's so much to do, the decorations in October are the best and the golf cars are a MUST. We would spend every night after the parks just driving around looking at everyone's decorations. Riverside used to be "home" but since we bought the camper I'm a Fort girl
Tip- go during Christmas time, everyone gets very competitive when it comes to most decorated cabin/ camper, the end result is the most beautiful non stop light show and everyone is in a great mood mingling around the campground 10/10
I do believe they have a bigger grocery area because DFB has mentioned you can order groceries before your arrival and they will have them in your cabin waiting for you.
Love the cabins! Last time we stayed at ft wilderness was 1989. That’s when they had a pull down bed from the wall in the family room that my sister and I slept on! It was such fun!!
Stayed at Fort Wilderness in my aunt and uncles RV years ago when in high school. My cousins and I went to River Country multiple times. Had no idea there could have been alligators in the water!! Not to mention the bacteria/amoeba present in the water too!!
I’ve never stayed there before . I use Water Butler shout out to them for groceries when we come down . They deliver right to the resort. It’s a really cool place ❤️ We have a golf cart at the beach just love it you will like driving around with it ❤️ The hat is perfect 🤩 Hi Taylor come on back ! So fun all the Halloween stuff 🎃 The horse stables and the carriage beautiful ! Thank you so much for going I loved seeing it all so fun ! Enjoy 😊
We live in our 5th wheel camper and love it!!! Much better and easier than a house, plus we can pick up and leave whenever we want. Trying to get my husband to move to Florida.
Thanks so much for this. My ex and I always dreamed that some year we'd get to Disney enough to not hit the parks commando style every day of our trip, and then we could stay here and chill a little and explore.
I stay at the cabins everytime, love the quiet.
I’ve stayed at the cabins several times-the fort is my favorite place in property!! It’s so serene, yet still in the MIDDLE of it all!
NGL, there is a pure joy in your voice running around in that golf cart. Also that charcoal is legit premium top grade charcoal. Way to go Disney!
My all time favorite resort 😍 would love to see a whole week dedicated to all you can do at Fort Wilderness ❤️
Chill and fun vibes video. These are the vids I love to see from vloggers. Disney is full of different fun spots. More of these just exploring videos!
I'm not a camper or outdoors person, but this resort was pretty cool. Love the cabin -- so cozy! The best part was seeing Taylor for a few seconds. 🙂 Thanks for taking us on another one of your adventures, Kyle.

Stoppp that was sooo cute how grady the horse came right over when you called his name 🥺😌

The sheer joy and happiness for you in this vlog. These are the vlogs we need to see from you. Shout out to Taylor for the hat!
I LOVED this video soooo much!!! You're spoiling us with all this unique content and I'm here for it!!!
Love the cabin, very similar to Davy Crockett Ranch in Disney Paris, great video and good info 😁
Stayed at the cabins at fort wilderness every time i’ve been to WDW they are great. Some of the best transportation on disney property
Love this one Kyle! Do more of these , such a great family resort at a great price. Cabins are the best in my opinion ❤️
Kyle keep doing these types of videos. This was great. I really enjoyed it.
That hat is EVERYTHING 🤣🤣 way to go Taylor!
And the decorations are always stellar during the holidays. You should check out the Christmas decorations too!!
There’s two doors on the cabin because if there was a fire. You may need another option out.
It is really neat that you would do a video on the other side of experience with camping! That really gives a fresh view! Great content! Keep up the good work!
I actually rode that Choo choo lol and there were canoes too
Fort Wilderness- The MEMORIES!! this was always my family's go-to resort growing up- except we tent camped 😳 now i'm more of a cabin girl in my "old age" 😄🤣 these cabins are on my list! That’s a bear resistant garbage can …required where I live as we have lots of bears who enjoy snacking during the night
Yes. About 24 years ago. After a day at Fort Wilderness water park. Which was one of the first water parks. And my favorite. It was a fun weekend. Enjoy
Had to comment on your GREAT CAMERA WORK!!! Skill. Superb editing! You took the time and You made this fun to watch..
We have stayed so many times in the cabins and in our 5th wheel camper at the Fort. Our kids grew up mostly going there because at the time it was the "cheapest" place! And there are so many fun activities. LOVE The Fort!!

I can hear the excitement in your voice today! Looks like a fun resort.
My family recently stayed in the tree house bungalows and it was amazing, this looks cozy as well!
Kyle, please take Casey to the tree house bungalow!!!
Those are bear and animal proof garbage cans- Love the cabin it reminds me of the place I stay at every summer! Now that's my idea of camping!! I would love to do this with my family. Love all of the Halloween decorations!
Great video, cool hat and Grady the horse made it even better!🐴
Kyle the magician! The cut from "Lets Goooo" (No Hat) to "Grocery Shopping" (Wearing Hat).... makes me giggle!
Made me giggle too, nice catch on ur part
I really enjoyed watching this video, it makes me wanna book a trip! Love the hat !
Love this, it is fun to see the Halloween decorations. Hope you get to go at Christmas to show us those decorations

Enjoyed the tour of the cabin. Headed to Fort Wilderness next week in a camper! Your video popped up on my feed. I’m now a subscriber!
The cabins look so nice! We stayed in a similar setting when we went to Calloway gardens. Our cabin was two bedrooms, multiple porches. We really enjoyed it. Might have to try this one day! Thanks for sharing
So glad I suggested you try the cabins, they are one of my favorites!

I like how when Kyle Called Gradie he came to say hi
Great Vlog - lol I was out when you arrived and mentioned the 'S' word ssssssssss 😳 - Cabin looks good though and area, love the Halloween stuff ❣
We stayed there last November and back in 2000. The cabins are a great little escape.
We've stayed a couple times at the cabins and are headed there for Halloween soon! Halloween at the Fort is amazing! Very nice resort, looks like so much fun. Enjoy your stay! Seems to be much cheaper than the other resorts, great value. Keep up the good work Kyle.
That's a silly and fun looking hat you was wearing😅 and the cabin is beautiful, I also enjoyed seeing the Halloween decisions and that custom golf cart of Mater was awesome!😊
Do a stay at Christmas season to check out decorations👍👍👍👍👍

Wow!!!! The Cabin was nice!!! I definitely need to book this.
We have stayed there quite a few times! It is our favorite place at Disney to stay!!!!!

I love both tent and cabin camping
We are going to be at Fort Wilderness this weekend! It will be our first camping trip in our new pop up camper. Can’t wait to set up camp. Thanks for giving us a cabin tour. It looks nice.
I loved this video! Brought back many memories - I stayed in one of those cabins in 1988 when I was 13 years old!

I loveee this video! The Fort is the best resort in my opinion. Also, can you PLEASE wear that hat more often? 😂
This was so fun! Thankyou!!😇
Our family has stayed in a cabin several times! Always rented a golf cart! Loved it🎃
That was such a fun video. I’ll have to add the cabins to our list. And I need the Mater golf cart!!! That was the cutest and coolest cart!!
I worked there when Port Orleans was closed Fort Wilderness was my home for almost a year I loved it!
Loving the hat Kyle, thanks for the wilderness lodge vlog
The only time me and the kids went to Disney we stayed in the cabin. I loved it and loved the resort
I've never been to Fort Wilderness or stayed there and love the cabin it's so cute I would totally stay there
The Fort is the best, so much fun staying there!!!!
YES!!! I remember the Murphy beds too!! Now it’s a huge tv. Lol
Stayed at Fort Wilderness in my aunt and uncles RV years ago when in high school. My cousins and I went to River Country multiple times. Had no idea there could have been alligators in the water!! Not to mention the bacteria/amoeba present in the water too!!
Thank you! I loved your visit to Fort Wilderness.
How’d you only pay $250 a night? We stay every year in October and it’s $450-$550. We were there on 10/7-10/10 and it was $506 a night.
Maybe booked under a cast member discount? 🤷🏻♀️
I was wondering the same thing. We are going on December and it’s $600+ with the Disney plus membership.
How did you get it for $250 a night I have never seen it for that low even with pass holder or Florida discount. I need your secrets
No way! My family stayed in 2853 back in 2009! Fort Wilderness is my family’s favorite resort and we have such good memories from there. 😊
“Us Disney people are the best!” 100%
That place is freaking awesome 🎉
I’ve never stayed there before . I use Water Butler shout out to them for groceries when we come down . They deliver right to the resort. Thank you Kyle for the tour of the Wilderness resort. I’m not a camper but this was nice.
Thanks so much for this. My ex and I always dreamed that some year we'd get to Disney enough to not hit the parks commando style every day of our trip, and then we could stay here and chill a little and explore.
I’m starting my second Disney college program in January I’m so excited
The FORT! We are hoping to come down with the RV soon!
