Gonna be interesting to see which of the big 3 PE options pros will use this year. Could see the GEO 4 being popular just for its adjustability, plus it's just beautiful
I wish they would have gone back to the ergonomics of the older Geos (1-3) with this Geo4. I have a CS2 and I like the way it shoots but the ergonomics on it are probably great for a tall lanky person, but for the rest of us it pushes the tank way back and makes you put your support arm way far forward.
In your last few videos I have noticed a hum in the background. Looking back looks like it started on your JT proflex x review. Not a huge deal, but thought I'd point it out. Love the videos, keep it up!
I pre ordered one, I am in the same boat as you. I never really liked the Gamma core and wasn’t a big fan of the bulky cs1 platform. The last PE I really fell in love with was the 3.5/gsl. and at 1200 it’s not that bad
As far as it makes sense to me: CS2 Gamma, high end, not much tweaking out of the box, just works GEO IV based "traditional" spool valve, high end, ability to tweak and tune shot profile EGO LV 1.6 Poppet based, high end, new noid, overall not enough change to be a new body. (m)170r, Gamma mid end Etha2/Emek/MG100, Gamma low end/magfed All that is missing from the product stack would be a new Etek on the mid end, but as it stands they have a seriously huge product stack as a whole, and lots of options for people who might not like the Gamma shot profile and preferred the more tunable Geo series, and honestly other than GI(across all brands) I don't think anyone has quite the same amount of products on the go.
Jack Wood explained in the Planet Eclipse Facebook video the differences between the Geo 4 and the CS1 & 2. I love the two 3.5's that I have, and have held off I'm getting a CS, but now that the 4 is out, I'm all over it!
Love the video. Theres a buzzing noise though thats probably coming from your microphone. You might need to replace the wire or buy a new one. Great stuff!
@@MrMalicious5 I think this would be the better way to look at it. TBH I'm happy with it IV Core was one of the best feeling guns I shot. I was really sad to see the Gamma core take over. This might end up stealing my wallet
When did Bob Long release too many markers? I mean you had a bunch of different milling styles for the 2nd and 3rd gen Intimidators, but really it was the same marker.
I love the 3.5, I don't care for the CS1, I only kinda like the CS2, so I'm hopeful this can live up to the Geo 3.5! The CS line never felt as smooth to me as the Geo line so I'm pretty excited to see what this thing can do.
jptothetree if you haven’t tried a CS1.5 they shoot a lot smoother then the CS1 it’s the smoothest by planet in my opinion and they are probably rock bottom price right now. I shot a 1.5 and dumped my shock 3.5 that weekend and I had shot 3.5 for like 3 years. Just food for thought.
Maybe I worded this incorrectly. My Perception, of the CS1.5 is that it’s smoother. It’s smaller a little lighter and I meant to say smoother then the CS2 sorry about the mix up. CS1/1.5 is a killer with some cs2 grips on it.
I dont know if this is really needed. I get the fans wanted it for a long time, but let's be honest. PE isnt suffering from lack of markers to choose from! I almost think they might have far too many markers to are almost(not quite) Identical. I'll give credit where credit is due, but I think PE is somewhat oversaturating the market with a bit too many to choose from.
i agree, but i think their idea is to take the guys that prefer the IV core and instead of them buying used guns that planet eclipse doesnt profit from, you offer them a brand new marker with IV core to make money off of it
@@PaintballRuinedMyLife I no longer am involved in paintball but I remember the whole fiasco in 2009. It's what sold me on the Geo2 the following season. Bought it as a kid fresh out of high school making almost minimum wage. $1500 Canadian!
What's the main differences (aside from the obvious stuff like IV core, alu tip, # inserts, AA batteries) between the GEO4 and CS2? Is air routed through the trigger guard? It looks like the trigger guard is quite beefy and might route air.
@@PaintballRuinedMyLife Thanks for confirming that! Is the CS2 or GEO4 softer on paint? With the CS2 running at 105psi vs 135psi for the GEO4 does that make a difference?
