    This actually worked well for me! used just a clear Naiil polish (Sally Hansen) and regular strength Publix brand remover. it's not perfect... BUT WAY WAY better! I can't feel the scratches anymore and can only see them if I really try. I had one DEEP scratch (and long) and several milder scratches. Was afraid to try this... but glad I did! Should also add... I tried the toothpaste method.. many times... with little success.

    Best way is to get some uv glass glue and a glass screen protector

    It's a solvent removing the fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating. It's easier to scratch the softer coating, so that's why some of the scratches disappear. I would order a replacement coating fluid and apply it or else your watch will look smudgy all the time.

      where can one find one & what brand?

    • @kylet3390
      @kylet3390 2 года назад

      @@Alex_564 You apply a liquid on the top and let it bond to the screen. There’s a lot of brands out there because it’s just a chemical solution. It’s not super expensive, but I would not go with the cheapest option. It probably won’t be as good as the one applied by the factory. That’s why cheap tempered glass screen protectors smudge so easily

    So a very important FYI- nail polish remover is acetone and acetone will absolutely remove oleophobic coating on your watch screen which is a big nope…

    • @Fuzzfooger
      @Fuzzfooger 2 года назад +1

      will also damage all the seals holding the watch together and giving it water resistance

    Didn't want to give you a thumbs down because I really appreciated the effort, but unfortunately this did not work for me even after several attempts. I used two different "branded" nail polishes and neither filled in the scratches. Nevertheless, thank you!

    You dont get an charging brick because environment, but replacing a piece of shit glass on a watch must be 327 euro's. So instead people trowing away more E-waste than saving the environment. The Charging brick dont get trowing away anytime. They should put the prices attractive to repair the watch instead buying a new one. 1 month old 7 serie... Already 2 scratches, my series 0 watch guess what? zero!. I almost believe apple is just making those watches weaker and weaker so people will buy them faster.

      You could be right. They keep saying the glass is better but I honestly don't believe that either. I feel like the glass scratches way too easy. I thought they were supposed to be using sapphire glass too.

    The front of my watch is fine, but I have a big scratch over the sensor. It’s completely functional, but because it is visible, Apple will offer me no trade in value. I’m going to give this a shot.

    Acetone or non Acetone NP remover, because there's a reason for non acetone and acetone , one may CAUSE more scratches because it's more abrasive for removing glitter polish which is a bitch btw to remove..... but that np remover I WOULD NEVER USE.... same reason you DO NOT USE WINDEX ON YOUR PC's Laptops, TV's , phones ect .... I'm a nut when it comes to scratches even smears or prints, that just my OCD.... I carry a littlie package of cell phone wipes for my phones and my watch, but I have tempered glass on all my devices , Still i want a clear shiny look on my shit at all times!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER PUT NAIL POLISH ON MY APPLE WATCH OR ANY ELECTRONICS, LET ALONE NP REMOVER!!!! F THAT !
