Please enjoy my reaction to the One Punch Man openings! I was very surprised there are only two openings but the two songs were literally perfect choices for this anime! These openings really hyped up One Punch Man for me and it looks like a great watch! I love the idea of a superhero type of anime and I love the subtle ties to comic design! Should I watch this anime?!

one-punch man starts mostly as a parody of power fantasies and superhero tropes. and currently there are only the 2 seasons, with a 3rd one coming soon tm.

One Punch Man is such a fun over the top anime. The first episode will capture you pretty quickly.

So for context, yeah this anime released a while ago and there is just two seasons so far, the first season was released in 2015, but then took several years to release the next season due to studio changes, and also to catch up with the manga, and its been a year since they announced that season 3 is in production.

I love how the opening theme makes it seem like Saitama is a total bad-ass. The dramatic shadows, lyrics making statements like "No one can stop me! One punch! That's it! I always win!" but the real Saitama is an irresponsible slacker. As to Saitama's costume, it's actually a parody of what the popular Japanese children's character Anpanman wears. Even the title when abbreviated to "OnePunMan" is suspiciously similar to "Anpanman".

The animation quality and budget of this show was so high in season one it took a couple of years for season 2 to drop. Now we're waiting again multiple years for season 3
