- German fire trucks responding:
Fire alarms in two different buildings were set off at the same time. As soon as an alarm gets off, all lights in the station illuminate, and here the units for both alarms left the station within the same time span of one alarm. Normally the Regensburg FD responds with 5 units to an activated fire alarm: Chief car, Command van, Engine 2, Aerial 3 and Engine 3 -- now they somehow had to split that for two alarms and had to man further units with the limited number of fire-fighters.
First you see the Command van, Engine 2 and Aerial 3 going straight ahead at the intersection, in some distance Engine 3 follows, but then turns southbound at the intersection. At the same time the Heavy-Duty Ambulance from the Bavarian Red Cross Regensburg is struggling through the backed-up traffic in the opposite direction. Meanwhile the Command van, Engine 2 and Aerial 3 went one time around the block and now had problems with backed-up traffic as well. Right before the Heavy-Duty Ambulance enters the intersection, the Chief car cross the intersection westbound, but didn't turn around the block but headed further on towards the historic city center. As the Command Van, Engine 2 and Aerial 3 arrived on scene -- the white office building right at the intersection, Aerial 1 now comes from the station and is heading the same way like Engine 3 did few minutes before. So now there were two short convoys, one with Command Van, Engine 2 and Aerial 3, and the other one with Chief car, Engine 3 and Aerial 1 (the scene was probably on the other side of the railroad tracks, where it doesn't play a big roll whether they first turn southbound and then westbound (like E3 and A1) or head on westbound and then turn southbound (like the Chief did). As if that wasn't complicated enough up to now, the Heavy-Duty Ambulance turned somewhere around and arrived on scene some minutes later, just before the new (new in terms of in service since May or June 2013) Tanker from the Regensburg FD came from the south and stops on scene as well. It either was just a small fire or a false alarm, at least the Tanker left already few minutes after arriving. Now at the end one of the new 2013 patrol cars from the Bavarian State Police shows up as well. The other fire trucks left the scene some minutes later and headed back to the station, seems like there were no further units required at the other alarm.

Sehr nice!! Eine der besten Aufnahmen!! Like und natürlich Abo
Watching that and reading the description, my mind's left confused haha!
Brilliant video of the many different units coming from different directions.
I see now how when one convoy goes through on the green light at the same time there's two incidents with other emergency vehicles responding, it can cause faults in the traffic and cause a backup of traffic, making it difficult for units to get through! Especially if the units have already come through and have to go all the way back round again.
thats true lmao :P
i love how they do everything they can to move
Top Video und schöne Fahrzeuge.
sehr schönes video! like + favo
sehr geiles Video !
Super Video!
Great video !!! :-D
From all the sides... Awesome catch! very lucky!
thanks :)
Yeah that really was a lot of luck with those 2 alarms and the brandnew tanker - usually I wait for hours for sth to happen but here I didn't wait at all: the alarm went off in the moment I reached the intersection
*****
Very nice video!!
Nice catch!
Schönes Presslufthorn
It's like watching a box assignment but in your country it's not called that, it's called something else. Hey one question, does your country have a tower ladder or something like that. If so could you try to catch it. Nice catch
Depends on what you call a tower ladder: Usually all german ladder trucks have baskets. And we have teleskopic trucks like the FDNY tower ladders.
yes, the box alarms are comparable to our so-called "Loeschzug" which usually consits out of 2 Engines or Rescue Engines, 1 Aerial Ladder and a Command unit / Battalion Chief, osmeimtes also an ambulance.; Technically almost all of the German Aerials are Tower Ladders, concerning the basket and the height (yes the ladders here are 100 ft ) - however our Ladder Trucks don't carry any ground ladders - these are carried by the Engines;
But besides the average 100 ft Aerials, we also have Aerials with 120 ft, 170 ft, and the highest (was - now it's in service somewhere in an Arabic county) a 367 ft Aerial - Unfortunately only few big cities have e.g. 170 ft Aerial Ladders and Telecopic Platforms, and then it usually is just one of them in the city. Up to now I wasn't lucky to film one of those

So Hubrettungsbühnen sind schon was schönes, ne? :D
To view this as a 2. I 7, but I think I

Was war na da los?

Das war ein Auto-correct Fehler. Ich Meinte So viele Sirenen.
So vieleicht Lichtenstein
