- This elevator only serves floors 46 and 47. One way to get here is by taking Car F to Floor 46 or by walking one flight of stairs in stairwell C. Another way is to take the service elevators to 46 by typing in: “46” on the keypad.

The faster way to get it to is by entering "47" on the keypad, which will direct to car G, and when you exit, it's on your right.

What floor is The View or whatever the rotating Roof Restaurant is called? Now it makes sense why the shafts of the scenics are enclosed for a couple of floors.

That's so strange that F serves 46 and G serves 47
Can 46 be typed on the keypad on any floor on the passenger elevators(at least floors F serves). It seems 46 doesn’t have a keypad.
QuarioQuario54321 Unfortunately 46 is locked and the only way to get there is by typing 55 on floor 3 and hoping you will get car F. Once you are in car F you can open the fire panel (its always opened) and press 46 (it’s a blank button). However, once you leave the elevator, there is no way to get back into that elevator since there is no keypad. The service elevators are down the hall on the right and can take you to Floor 45 where you can get on the main passenger elevators.
Car G serves 47(apparently the lower floor of the view but I see a service area) Could you get out that way?
QuarioQuario54321 You could, but there’s a possible chance that the floors would be locked. There is also a desk right next to the elevator. When I went there, someone was sitting there watching over some security cameras...

If l were you guys, l would go there with at least one partner, because even if l leave the elevator on 46, my partner could still use the elevator to pick me back

What was the switch you pressed in that cabinet to the left of the doors around 0:13. Also what key does it take to open the cabinet?
Jamestube 8439 That switch put the elevator onto Independent Service or Priority Service, that way the elevator wouldn’t go anywhere since I needed to use it to leave. These are Schindler elevators so they should use keys for that type, however, I do not know the exact key for the cabinet.
@@metropolitanelevators Was the cabinet for the switches open? Also can you explain what priority service does?
Jamestube 8439 Priority Service is pretty much the same Independent Service. And yes, the cabinet was open.

John O'Connor 47 is a lower level of the View restaurant. It’s just that one half of the lower level are service areas.
Where are the machine rooms for those elevators?

I wish I could see the original fixtures of the passenger elevators (and the main service elevators that serve every floor from -2 to 46). Would’ve loved to see what they looked like before they were turned into Miconic 10.

Gage Williams Unfortunately it does not have a dinner bell. The elevators here that I know of that have a dinner bell are the service elevators at elevator bank S (on floor 9). Those have nice indicators as well.
