Very nice video. We have been to this resort four times in the past and returning in 2020 and it will be our first time since 2011. It was nice to see the changes. Especially no reservation ala-cartes, no towel cards and the pathway to the beach from the lobby. All those things are new since we were last there. We will be staying in Royal Club. Great video!!!
I was there for my birthday last year in 2018 and just booked another trip with my family in December and I cannot wait to go back it was so beautiful there especially the lagoon it was my favorite. It’s not a five-star place but it’s definitely family friendly. Thanks for sharing the great video footage of the place.
We stayed a week here last year and really enjoyed it. The service was really good and the grounds are second to none if you like lush greenery. Also the abundance of wildlife was really cool. We found it to be very relaxing and hoping to return this year.

Love the Occidental Xcaret - Great Buffet - Great Michael Jackson show - xcaret eco park is amazing , we went zip lining - the Staff were amazing at all times ! I can’t wait to go back in February- we stay for a few days and then head down to Tulum 🙏 I highly recommend this Hotel

They do play music by the pool and lagoon beach, they will do exercise in the water and volleyball. I did did forget to show the nightclub that is near the sports bar which is decent.

Great video! I have an upcoming vacation stay there and I noticed that they have several room buildings. If you had your choice which room building do you think is the best location? By the pool, lobby...etc??? Thanks!
I was in a room inside lobby building, i had a great view. I liked it there because i was close to theater, restaurants, bars and stores. We would walk to pools or beach in the morning , thats where the out buildings were. Depends what you want to be close to, morning things to do or night.
It is all inclusive, but they do have a coffee shop that is cash only and they do have lobster on the menu that has a surcharge. Mexico started charging resort fees last year, its only about $1 a day
I usually tip a few dollars every so often but if they are working really hard for you I tip them a lot more, some people dont tip at all, but they should.

One park is connected to xcaret Occidental hotel and you can pay and walk in or take a gondola boat in, the price is about $100 and you see shows and explore jungle and rivers. If you upgrade you can do other things like the dolphins but they charge you almost like your doing a excursion. Probably a another $100 a day unless you found a deal 😎

My wife and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and trying to find an awesome resort to go to this one I got admit way to big lots to do love the ruins ocean looks amazing shame there is not a good decent beach. But nonetheless really cool looking. Thank you very much for sharing.

I went in January, and air temperatures were warm but the pool was too cold

I think it was $89 a person per day or they have a multiday ticket

I usually tip a few dollars every so often but if they are working really hard for you I tip them a lot more, some people dont tip at all, but they should.

Yes at this resort everything is included at all restaurants, except there is a up charge if you want to add lobster. All alcohol is included.
