I went through the same thing, I was an average student but I wanted to do more, be more. I wanted to get in my dream college in my dream university. So I started working so hard, I felt like I had no other options, this is it or there's nothing else. I had scored 95 and above in all subjects but 1 where I scored 75, specially the one I had worked most for. I cried when I saw my result as I knew this paper would affect my overall % . So even though I was able to get into my dream Uni, I couldn't get into my dream college. I was very unsatisfied with my results but I decided whatever happens, happens for a reason and I enjoyed my college experience. My friends group was humble and down to earth (being an introvert, making friends was a huge fear) but honestly I lived the best years and did so well there that I went ahead with post grad too.
The thing is I might have constantly judged myself or be totally relaxed if I attended my dream college and never improve. But here I knew I had to do better and improve.
I have a chronic health problem, its for life and I've now accepted it as a part of life so am not that affected.
I needed some motivation to study for a job exam tomorrow and I think this video helped me to remember to give my best no matter what. Thankss!

Whats the difference between uni and college
@@user-pr4ig7rn1b Generally, universities are private and government run institutes are colleges. at a university multiple degree courses are available (like Harvard offer engineering courses, mba courses, film school etc) however at a college only one type of course (like engineering *colleges* will offer only engineers course, MBA colleges will offer only mba's course)

@@user-pr4ig7rn1b Well in the case I mentioned, 1 University has multiple colleges affiliated with it. So even the top University can have best to average colleges.
But generally all colleges have arts, commerce and science subjects. Say 20-30 colleges form 1 university and then all universities are linked to educational boards.
Only professional courses like medicine or engineering, etc. have different colleges but no university. They are directly linked to educational boards.
We hope you continue to study smart. Never give up no matter how hard it gets.
I have been watching your vlogs for months now, and you never fail to motivate me to do better in life and be more hardworking. now i am not gonna tell you to stop worrying abt not getting in your dream uni, because that is just inevitable, but remember that everything happens for a reason, and remember that it is okay to be sad abt not getting in your dream uni cuz its better to mourn, talk to someone and let all the feelings out instead of bottling them up until one day the pressure becomes so great that years of grief might explode at once and emotionally break you.
all in all, it is okay. everything is going to be just fine, if not better. there is a bright future that awaits you. so dont spend your time weeping about the things you cant or didnt do rather focus on the ones that you can still do. Hey don't worry something similar not so happened with I was a very good student average above average till 10th but in 10th u know due to comparison teachers pressures and bullying I went into depression and I have stopped going school and studied from home and when I gave 2 exams very happily confidently in 2020 March govt canceled exams and passed all students and when my mum went to collect the my certificates one of teachers said it's very lucky this happened for ur daughter she's passed and when I went before exams to collect halltickets some teachers said laughing and they didn't even talked with they gave strange looks so in 8th I shifted to this school and so making friends was difficult but I always said to myself am here for education purpose not making friends and some I made good friends too but in 10th all went into their so called favorite groups and in 2020 I thought whatever happened happened I will now start afresh and joined in clg 11th with pcm and it all going well and it was lockdown but am studying not so good but good and in that year the 11th exams not conducted and promoted to 12th and in half 12th sep clgs opened and now they declared 11th exams are in 1 month and 1st day I went to clg and next something unfortunate unforgettable happened in my life my father passed away and it was so sudden and I never imagined such thing I couldn't take it and I really went into depression now and all I know I was just alive that's it I don't remember anything and next month Oct 11th exams are there I attended exams and I gave and 4 sub I scored 90 and next I didn't went to clg and my health also ruined and I used to faint randomly because of weakness and my 12th boards time 2022may and before this I didn't attended practicals and when supp time came I slipped in my washroom and had a head injury and that year I didn't gave my exams and this year 2023 Feb I gave my practicals and I gave my exams but it's so strange that I got failed in 4 subjects even though I studied very well it happened with many students due to govt negligence and I have applied for reverfication and before I used to think studying getting a job and that's it may be gng to iit but these2 years really changed my perspective for everything I have explored my interests and now am preparing for exams and I discovered that I can really write good songs I wrote 6 already and I want to study may be software engineer and music and am thinking of content creation making videos on RUclips and I really learned many things and tried new things and very confident about me now
After this exams thinking of taking a drop to try out new things and I have thought of why am alive once no many times in last year but I also thought if something happens to me or if I die ntg in this world goan stop or change may be people will remember 10 days but you have to be best of u in all time to Goa head in life and yes world is someimes so unacceptable discouraging but no matter what u have to pick yourself up and sometimes u have to be in the moment not thinking past and future am very lucky to have my mumma sis bro they are very supporting this is for all students people who ur not good enough or ur a failure.
I really needed this power, this vlog is just in time. 😭💪✨

I don't know but I am in a state of thinking what should I do and having no control. I am not understanding why my mind is not getting serious to studies like i used to do. I was a person who is working consistently but I am not getting any result for my effort even though we say like no need to stress on results but at some points it matters. I am tired of doing that one man show all alone. Now I am again starting it from first but still my mind is not cooperating. I ordered some stationary stuff which makes me happy and motivating hope it will help me.
Sometimes I am thinking life is getting harder even to think of something.

I want my words to reach everyone in this phase✌️
my fellow mates trust me, 10th, 12th, it's okay to feel pressurised. and it's okay to fail as well. it's great if you score well but it's okay to score average as well. I am a 3rd year computer science engineering student at the IIIT. my class 12th friends who ended up in tier 3 colleges because they failed in JEE & such exams, have bagged internships of companies like Microsoft, Nutanix, JP Morgan's in India itself. While me and my friends here at IIIT (a national college) are still struggling to beat the toppers here despite my cgpa being 8.5+. So in conclusion, it is great if you are doing well but if you fail or do average, it just means you are not doing well in PCM. Your life is still waiting for you, it hasn't even begun yet! Once you get into engineering (ANY COLLEGE), the game all depends on YOU and not on the college. College will matter only 1% once you get into the company. Yes a good college ofcourse gives you an initial start. But even if you end up in tier 3 colleges, it is not the end for you. don't give up there! keep going and keep learning 💯 and @thedeskdiary it is awesome you are starting with pre year courses! your decision is absolutely wise. the earlier, the better! so confidently go for it. I was shocked to see you were managing your 10th and 12th while you were under health treatment but hope you are fine and healthy now right? and I am sure with your habits and the way you look towards it, you definitely have a bright future ahead! congratulations on beginning a new phase of life 💐

I am in the same situation as you. I also fell sick before my entrance exam and was admitted to the hospital. Due to which I lost a lot of time and could not study properly and couldn't able get admission in my dream university. It is very painful that despite my qualifications I did not get a chance only because of illness.
