hi, its a laser heat gun he's using it to see if both cylinders are running around the same temp. If one was cooler than the other it could indicate one piston is running weaker than the other
@@Tom-uc1mh Hi Tom, we used to do the touch test, feel the manifold heat up and keep stopping and starting the engine while you adjust the linkage on the rack for that fuel pump running cooler.
