Wait, so let's just say that Luigi is the father. and Peach died in that universe, so did Mario kill Peach? THINK ABOUT IT! Mario was already called out to be a sociopath, he has already killed toads (the blocks), Goombas, and others. Is it possible that when he found out about the princess; the woman HE love, prefer his cowardly brother over him. Could that drove him to kill her?

and Mario could have been following the saying that all psychopaths say, "If I can't have her, nobody can!" Which led to him killing her because he was jealous of Luigi and angry that Peach didn't choose Mario
nah, Mario isn't a sociopath. All the RPG games, from paper Mario to Mario and Luigi, to even luigis mansion, negate that theory. He clearly cares about his friends, peach, and especially his brother. I love matpat's videos, but that theory was shit tbh, with no regard to other Mario games except the very few helping 'support' his opinion.
Yeah, that's honestly the only theory I didn't like. He even disproves most of it in his Mario timeline theory.

Well even if Luigi is the father, that doesn't mean Mario and Peach don't end up together. After all, there are infinite possibilities and Rosalina has had to go through a couple thousand. She can just happen to be from the instance where Luigi is the hero instead of Mario, further explaining why Luigi is playable as the main character in some games.
Also, if you want to really get convoluted, Mario can still be the father. In the darker corners of Mario history, it was revealed in a certain media that we shall not name, that Luigi was adopted by Mario. That would explain why Rosalina's brother had a green cap. But that's a stretch and very unlikely as that source is not "cannon".
Either way, infinite time lines, infinite possibilities. Anything can be both possible and impossible at the same time.
That could be true, but Luigi getting with Peach would explain the Mario Land games and Mario getting together with Daisy. It’s also stated in Matpat’s Mario timeline video.

Another thing that point towards Luigi being the father is that it is actually shown him having pride of his mustache, in Super Paper Mario, paper Luigi( i know that paper Luigi and Luigi aren't exactly the same but still) is very ofendent when Dimetio insults his mustache to the point of wanting to fight him alone

My favorite Game Theory video is the one of Skyrim and the "arrow in the knee" line. It's funny to me that he included a lot of detail and work when the actual line is (unconfirmed as far as I know, but I am not the first to speculate this, I read it somewhere online) basically Skyrim's version of "the old ball in chain", referring to getting married.
You can apply the fact that a telescope can directly relate to "adventure". Mario is an adventurer (in a sort). So I can see that all the other scientifically stuff is true, but what do we know
Its possible that Luigi (father) is an alternate timeline while the main Cannon Mario is in a relationship with Peach.

He forgot in one of the manuals for Mario kart wii that daisy and peach are cousins meaning that despite not being blonde Daisy could be Rosalina's mother just as easily because Daisy carries the blonde gene and if you look at her hair as red instead of brunette being bleached a little by being out in the sun it goes up as red hair is a mutation of blonde hair not to mention its stated that daisy likes flowers so Rosalina being called Rosalina makes more sense but that's just me tossing my two cents in
When it came around to Luigi being her father, he sounded like he's hearing the meaning of life for the first time or something
Mat-Pat explained to me why it felt like I blinked for about two seconds when I had mouth surgery. Because I wasn't moving it felt like a couple of seconds. (in case you didn't realize they put me to sleep during the surgery) It was actually around four hours, my mom told me, and it actually DID feel like time travel! THANKS MAT-PAT!😊

Well you gotta remember Mario has been in 3 relationships, let's go all the way back to the game donkey Kong, he had a girlfriend by the name of Pauline, then we had super Mario bros, where Mario rescues not peach but daisy as in Princess Daisy. Then after that we were introduced to princess peach in s.m.b 3 and it's been that way since. So I wouldnt be surprised if peach was unappreciative in a sense towards Mario due to the many relationships Mario has had over the years. So Luigi being with peach isn't that far fetched yes a bit off putting but still not.
Peach being with luige could one of the things that change from timeline to timeline.
Don't forget, in Super Mario 2 Mario is out to rescue Princess Daisy and a heart floats up when he saves her. Daisy be Mario's love interest. :P

It actually makes sense that Luigi the single brother at the start of Super Mario Bros would be in or attempting to have a relationship with Princess Peach while Mario who is confirmed to be in love and dating Pauline (Donkey Kong series) would assist his brother in rescuing her. It would also explain why throughout most of the Mario Franchise he remains a blue collar working class plumber and raises to middle class as a Doctor. While Luigi becomes a millionaire and owns a Mansion. Making him a more suitable potential suitor for a member of Royalty . Also Mario is their surname the elder brother being Jumpman Mario(who we call Super Mario) and the younger twin being Luigi Mario. But the Super Mario title could equally apply to Luigi as his one of the Mario Bros, and Peach saying " Thank you Mario" equally applies to both Brothers as the 1st Mario game is her introduction to both Mario Bros. But later on in the series she calls only one by his first name Luigi and the other still by their surname Jumpman. And Nintendo even throughout Jumpman\s(Super Mario's) history have ever mentioned Jumpman and Pauline's breakup. Lois Lane Splitting with Superman, Barbie from Ken, Miss Piggy from Kermit have all made news. But Nintendo has never split their franchise character Super Mario aka Jumpman from Pauline. Likewise Nintendo has never confirmed Daisy and Luigi from being a couple. All we know is Princess Peach Toadstool loves a Super Mario Brother. And since one brother is already in a happy, loving relationship (why else would be risk battling a giant gorilla hurling barrels and other items at him) that only leaves Mario Brother. The only problem is that Rosalina is most likely 100, or more years older and Peach is most likely younger than Rosalina.

Nathan your reaction is pretty much exactly how I reacted to the video - I always prefered Luigi over Mario, and after watching the other videos about him (with him being a sociopath and stuff like that) I care even less for the little plumber, how ever Luigi was always the underdog and that made him more sympathetic for me. So when I watched this I was happy to see him get some love from Nintendo >3 (that and Luigi's Mansion of cause)

1 thing i just cant put together about that picture where Rosalina plays with her "brother that´s wearing a green hat" I understand that green is a referance to Luigi but if Luigi is the father then who is she playing with? Who is her brother? did Peach and Luigi get a second child together. If they did then have Nintendo erased/killed off 1 caracter to preserv the belief that Mario is supposed to marry Peach.

What gets me with this theory is that you can't discount Mario ending up with Peach in some iterations isn't as possible as Luigi ending up with her.

A revisit, in regards to Matt saying that Luigi might be Rosalina's father, as it would explain Peach's "lack of love" towards Mario in a majority of the games. That honestly would explain the ending [SPOILERS] of the most recent Mario game, Super Mario Odyssey. Mario wins the battle against Bowser and frees Peach and Tiara, but the cavern begins to collapse. Mario captures an unconscious Bowser and escapes to the surface with Peach and Tiara. After Peach thanks Mario for his help, Mario and Bowser, who regains consciousness, attempt to marry Peach, who rejects both of them.
Perhaps she rejected Mario [it's obvious as to why she'd reject Bowser, constant kidnapping & everything] because her feelings actually are towards Luigi, and therefore couldn't/wouldn't marry Mario.

My only problem with this theory is that he assumes that ambidextrous means she was left-handed at birth when in reality poeple who are right-handed at birth can be ambidextrous later in live.
eddy lebreton But he's talking statistically. Left-handed people are much more likely to become ambidextrous since most of the world is built with the more common right-handed people in mind. Right-handed people don't have that motivation.

One thing destroying this theory the tree on the hill is a pine that is in the story while the one shown at the beginning isn't however you could argue that it takes place in an alternate timeline in which peach died and that she was buried under a different type of tree
Remember that its a different version of the universe in the story so the tree could be a different one

The part about Luigi being a possible parent is cool and all, but if Luigi is left-handed, Mario should have that gene, too.
And the height of Rosalina can be associated with Mario, too. I mean, I'm the tallest person in both my own generation, AND the one before me. I stand at 5 feet, 11 and 3/4 inches right now, 2 months from my 19th birthday. I'm a whole head (about 5, maybe 6 inches) taller than ALL of my dad's side of the family, except my Uncle Bobby at 5'8". Hell, everyone else is 5'4" or less, with my brother Aryk (I know, odd spelling) stands 5'1" or 5'2"! And on my mom's side, the last person to get to 6' was my grandma's brother, at 6'4". So her height doesn't surprise me a bit.

I wonder what the odds/explanation for someone like me are with handedness. I'm right handed, but when a shoot, either a bow or a gun, I do it left handed, not because my left hand is any better, but because I'm a better shot with my left eye. I can line stuff up easier in almost any situation by focusing with my left eye instead of my right.

I got hazel green too, but without the blue.
I actually have heterochromia, meaning I have two differently colored eyes; my right eye is blue while my left eye is green.

I was floored when I realized my eyes were actually different colors. It's a little subtle, but after a bit of studying, you can notice a difference. Needless to say, I love it.
