This is a really cool game. I played the Force II in Steve Charland's collection before he passed away. I had a great game and rolled it over... with the glass on, so it's harder :)
Señor. Gracias por subir este vídeo. Mi recuerdo de la force 2..La he jugado cuando era niño. Muy linda máquina. Mis saludos hacia usted. Bendiciones y Buenas noches?
The boards on the back of the backbox door is pretty neat! It seems like a better place for the boards, as I imagine it makes them easier to inspect and work on.
I played this game back in 85 at my step-father's bar (I was 12) and played excellent on it, and I also scored free games and the bells chimed loud, which echoed in the bar. and kept on getting multi-ball on the game. I also turned the score over (Scored over 1,000,000) but the bar only had it for a week due to mechanical problems, and I think it was the same problem you described in the video.
I have one of these in Austraila and it has a backstory. It started life as a MONDIAL europe export that ended up in Africa! The operator over there did horrible, horrible things to it. I brought it locally from someone who imported all the operator's games in a couple of containers. Put a Pascal PI-80 into it and it runs great. It's a crowd favourite at all the pinball events here in Queensland. Needed a lot of work and parts, and Steve Young and the team from PBR is the reason mine works as well as it does.
Just got Force 2 Im almost 50, my first one! Only I realized after I bought it that the right targets(blue) never reset and are always down,,,I looked at the underside and someone has soldered a fuse in line with that solenoid but it isnt blown...any ideas for a beginner? Thanks again
I have a problem right now where sometimes either hole sometimes holds the ball forever and sometimes kicks it out. Which leaves you stranded if the ball drains because it wont kick a ball out into the shooter lane. Only way to get out of it is by reaching under and triggering the ball drain switch. Then it releases the locked ball and kicks the second ball.
Played Force 2 in the local acrade back when it first came out. If the ball was in lower launchers n u hit flipper buttons flippers would chatter until ball released or if u let go of buttons. 🍺
Secret tip. Lock a ball, then plunge the 2nd ball through the spinner without triggering the switch (hard to do) and the 2nd ball wont release until you either drain the 1st ball, hit a roll over, or the spinner. Essentially a free extra ball.
One of those Gottlieb games that back glass chipped paint with those 44-47 bulbs .if ball went in kicker press flipper buttons n they will chatter.very few in acrade back then
@@tntamusements Nope, I remember that happening as well. The Gottlieb strobe light effect to blink all the lights on the playfield, when you locked a ball in the kicker, it also affects the flipper power as well! If you hold in the flippers they will chatter, because the game is toggling all the power on and off throughout the game, not just to the lights.
There was a Force II for sale at Blocket.se (swedish version of craigslist) with a "Must be renovated NOW!" look, cracked plastics, almost sanded down playfield etc, for around 200 bucks.
And I just learned this: The pinball machine Paulie destroys at the beginning of "Rocky III"? The (prop) backglass says "Rocky"...but it's really a Force II machine :D www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1993
timed noyb Those CREEPS!!! I guess they couldn't find a Rocky!! I DO know there were lots of leftover Rocky backglasses....so that was a cheap solution!
Hello there! I have the complete playfield of this gottlieb force II pinball machine. Are you interested in buying?. By the way, exellent videos channel.

Could be an issue with the driver board
Glad to hear it's going to a good home.

Todd, what was the name of tune you were lip syncing? At first I thought it might have been from Rocky Horror, but then I realized it wasn't.
That's from TOMMY...Oliver Reed and Ann Margaret singing "Come To The Doctor"...rediscovered it when I was syncing songs for the Tommy Pinball Video!
I knew it was familiar. Thanks!

Can you please do a Gottlieb Rocky. If not what is the closest video you have done as i need to get it working.
Your videos are great by the way!
One is in the works....early september!
you are the bob ross of the pinballs
:-)
Same program for drop targets in panthera. Except no multi ball in panthera
Thats correct...Gottlieb had not yet had a Multiball machine

maybe an adjustment...flippers should not chatter, unless a winding is bad in one of them.

I wonder what happened to Force I...
It ended up on the Gottlieb Design Floor!
