the peice by the pulley you said was a guide on the plow actually has a little slot for it on the pulley arm so it can enclose the winch cable while it is on so it wont fall off the pulley. I have a 2016 model that is an hd10 that i love, i have a plow for it and i snow plow my driveway with it. i also have some beef cows that i raise and each week a scoop the poop out of there pen and it is probably around 5000-6000lbs of poo in there pen and i do it in about 6-7 trips and it has been handling it fine for the past 4 years i have had cows, the defender is truly an amazing machine.
Great Video!!! I was at the dealer yesterday looking at this unit, love it!!! Out the door cost $43,456.96. Canadian. I have the Maverick sport with cab and heater, but I know this unit is more my style. Hoping that they add the locks and A arm that will allow for 33'' tires for 2025 or 2026. Keep up the great video's. The Pro is also a contender.
It’s as expected in the cab for me, not like driving around in a new truck with sound dampening but it’s by no means loud or obnoxious while in the machine!
Great video, 3 questions - how loud is it inside, can you have a conversation without yelling? How well is the cab sealed for dust and does the heater or a/c have a filter or anything to keep the dust out when it's on? What was it about it that made you choose it over the equivalent Polaris Northstar?
When in the cabin you can have conversations no problem, its by no means quiet like a truck cabin but it is not loud. The cabin is sealed well, I have a couple spots where the windshield seals up that i feel could be better, I don't use it much in dusty environments, most of the use is in winter so mine has stayed very clean inside, I believe the filter is in the front compartment and i have not even looked at its condition to be honest with you. I chose the Can Am over the Polaris for a couple reasons, i felt the new cab on the Defender was easier to see out of with all of the glass, not as much plastic surround, I liked the way it looked on the exterior and color option i chose. And I had a can am outlander for many years that always was reliable so I stuck with the brand.
a remote is the way to go imo. You can mount the remote too. i have had both, love the remote. You aint losing my remote in the snow, its pretty big plus can be strapped to your wrist if youre that dumb.

Another good video! Good job.
Love the front window, even for cleaning!
How’s the cab noise when cruising

Dude! Where do you live? This is such a beautiful Area! Not to mention the Defender!! Nice.
Thanks man, this is Wyoming .
Beautiful 😍
The wife and I have a 2023 with the clear doors and ours has locks on the door. So my guess is it depends on the doors you got

What is the part number for the plow
Doesn't look like the plow would work with the tracks kit installed. Or maybe there is an extension for it. ??
Thats a great question, I have not looked into the tracks kit.
Can am has the extension for every unit when running plow.
How plush is the suspension

No locking doors for that price is a pass from me
