    As someone who worked for entain, I can tell you how much of a frustration it was to work in their shops and have to adhere to rigorous rules about monitoring on harmless regulars and potentially aggressive strangers for just over minimum wage whilst knowing the real fraud was happening online from our managers with obvious money laundering going on.

    The fines they are given are nothing more than an inconvenience. The bookmakers have far too much power with plenty of companies and individuals ( so-called tipsters / presenters )smoothing the way for them and getting an undeserved piece of the money pie 🥧.

    Everyone who has ever recieved an email from this company can claim for damages as they do not disclose their trading particulars on their disclaimer, No Company Name, Reg Office Address, Company Number, Part of the UK Registered and mention of Limited Company Status. £50 per default (5 defaults per email) x number of emails = total claim value.

    The RTP on FOBT's needs scrutinised, experienced players can tell it's not as shown on these machines. Bonuses regularly take 400/500 spins to come in and are then paying paltry amounts. This has been going on since reopening after lockdown, using machine players to subsidise shops, that otherwise would fail.

    • @tomdior93
      @tomdior93 Год назад

      I spoke to an insider on these machines, he told me the RTP can be lowered or made higher to suit international markets i.e Asia where the big gamblers are...as long as they average out the RTp overall.

      I think it's more likely the reason for this is shrewd gamblers finding ways to somehow profit on them, leaving little for average gamblers. My advice is just don't play them. If they're not paying out, surely people would simply lose interest.

    I used to work as a field engineer for a company that services equipment inside betting shops and its such a toxic industry. From seeing people playing slot games with credit of £3800+ still spinning to European customers breaking several screens over losess or non payments of money they didnt really win of less than £1 these shops are awful environments. Especially around London

    In fairness ALL bookmakers have been fined (windfall tax) by this government.
    I don't believe for 1 minute that the government is interested in problem gambling or money laundering, there main interest is windfall taxing..
    If the government cared about problem gamblers they would refund the bets not pocket fines..
    We must all better abroad out of reach of hm governments clutches. .

    Caan have you considered moving to The Republic of Ireland as a career move ? You wouldn't have to deal with all that KYC and AML bollocks. It's also a more pleasant place to live. I've lived in the UK for 27 years and Ireland for 18 years.

    Every body out there Ladbrokes poker site is fixed when you see hands like 4 and 7 and you have pair aces and the other player go's all in and low and behold you lose, FIX, I have never seen anyone go all in with 4 and 7 so that says a lot to me and now I know it is fixed and I would never but my cash into any online poker site because of the way hands come out.

    Caan but don't you see some contradiction here as one minute we're complaining about these increasingly stringent 'proof of wealth checks' and how they're overkill and are stopping many legitimate gamblers from spending their money how they wish, and on the other hand Ladbrokes are being fined large amounts of money for NOT carrying out sufficient checks and for allegedly allowing 'money laundering' or 'bribery' - and we're criticizing them for that because of their profits. I'd suggest we really can't have it both ways. Do we think there should be less checks, or more checks? The way I see it high profile fines like this levied at bookies, even if in reality unconnected to the problems that the proof of wealth checks are supposed to mitigate, are only going to make the already extremely invasive checks even more justified. I understand your concerns but the bookmaker industry has always been shady by it's very nature. I'd argue it's more transparent now than it's ever been, but unfortunately that doesn't bode well for professional gamblers. And I don't see that ever changing as these are businesses, and like any business they are interested solely in maximal profits within the broad and often ill defined gambit of gaming law.

    • @CaanBerryProTrader
      @CaanBerryProTrader  Год назад +1

      The contradiction litteraly is THE POINT. These companies want all these checks, its a huge data grab, they use and abuse them and document everyones finances under the premise of responsiblity... yet they don't use them asuch. They can't have it both ways as you say, so what is it? they either want the checks and do them as they're supposed to on the people their supposed to (not us) or they don't and we get to be free. This video highlights how pointless, misused and useless the checks are in my eyes. Your wealth has nothing to do with if you are addicted or not, and neither does it have relevance to how responsible a firm is.

    Hi caan I love your videos and always watch them... I have a issue myself I think you would take interest in, I won a £500 holiday with skybet via there 10k giveaway promotion, this was 1 of 5 £500 holiday vouchers they were giving away, the notification bell stated I had won this which I screenshot and also stated I would be contacted within 72 hours, I messaged sky via chat on the monday 72+ hours had passed I heard nothing, I was told because it was a bank holiday the company issuing the voucher may be busy and I was to contact them Friday if I still had not heard anything, so Friday came and still no email or phone call etc I gave them until Monday and contacted them again... Well I tried to but chat would not open when I selected the promotion help prompt, so I had to try other prompts, I got through and exchanged messages but soon as I mentioned the £500 holiday voucher the chat interface stopped working for me, I screen recorded my attempts to message back and also screen recorded txt documenting the issues I'm having so viewers of these recordings could read along and see what's been going on. Chat won't even load up now for me and I expect a account closure within hours tbh, my screen recordings should be entertaining with the txt I've supplied (just a explanation nothing Ill mannered) I'd love if I heard back from you and hopefully what I've screen recorded is of interest as it's quite funny how chat is working then all of a sudden soon as I mention the £500 voucher it stops functioning and I can't get back on chat and when I do via a different query option I get the same result
