I think the little speech about the Yelp Reviews solidified the loss for the Plaintiff. Bc if she would've read the reviews, she could've seen that maybe that wasn't the best place for her.

It also showed me that she may be a bright young lady but that she isn't super educated. She's trying so hard, which I respect and applaud. Good for her. But I think she may be having a hard time as it is. She kept saying "yep" instead of "yelp" and called reviews "views". It seems like she wasn't dealt wonderful cards and maybe isn't learning at high capacity. Combined with their lack of skill for teaching others this really just wasn't good for anyone. Sad. 😢

But you have to keep in mind that fathers are not known to teach their daughters the same stuff as if he were to have a son. There’s millions of different circumstances for every female and it just comes down to gender roles and wether your parents partake in keeping it that way. Not saying a female cannot learn about mechanic basics but next time just keep in mind about how they could have been brought up. Not everyone is the same. I do agree when you say she did diss females everywhere tho.

When you look at that specific engine it would be on your right, the right side, this isn't a perspective thing like she tried to make it and that's where ALL of her confusion comes from, she thinks in the literal and fully believes that simply by virtue of having a vagina that she has no reason to know anything about engines/vehicles. Edit: I love that she's so earnest. I like her. She'd quickly become my favorite stupid friend. I bet she's hilarious to hang with.

In a general sense women do not have interest in a car like men generally do, so they end up not knowing about cars like men do. It is not because of incompetence

How can she be mad that she failed a driving test when she is the one driving. If they taught you what you needed to know as far as material that is one thing, but to actually drive that is all up to you. I've taken commercial driver's licenses road test and there is the written test and there's the physical part of the driving. If you do not pass that driving part you fail. Who wants to put somebody on the road who doesn't know how to drive a commercial vehicle.

I'm going to get hate but there are multiple studies done by colleges and study groups all over the world that show that men typically are better with mechanical things while women are typically better with human interaction things. That is a major reason mechanics are overwhelmingly men and the healthcare field is overwhelmingly dominated by women. I'm not giving any opinion as to why, could be environment, could be genetic, could be physical, but studies seem to back it up.

@@AmyLeeAngelLove I agree. I don't think there is any job that cannot be done by either gender but things like swinging a sledge hammer is much easier for the average man while the patience that most women have make them better at dealing with people for instance.

There are also studies that linked this gendered difference to teachers and parents. Male students from a young age tend to be steered to STEM (science, engineering, and math) added to this teachers showed perference to recommend male students to STEM related classes even if he did not show ability. With more focus on pushing STEM for girls/women there has been a shift in how many more women and girls show strength in these categories.
