I love the sing-along at the end. Not often you get the whole audience doing that for an album track song that has never been played on the radio. I guess that's what happens when you do smaller venues where only the hardcore fans show up.
I come back to this video a lot, and I really think the singalong at the end is where Carly noticed that e.mo.tion was connecting with people on a rare and genuine level that a lot of pop albums don't even if she was playing to smaller rooms than she might have hoped. Also as an aside this is one of my favourite of her looks.
Just echoing everyone else's comments: II was also at this show and it was honestly one of the best concerts I've been too. She was connecting with the audience on such a personal level and everyone knew every song. It was incredible and she really seemed to appreciate the love. I get chills watching this. Thanks for uploading.
this reminds me of her pre concert stuff she did around Vancouver before Call Maybe , with her Tug of War Material . Songs like Money and The Ego, Worldly Matters just to name a couple
i am a metal head so i rarely listen to anything else. but thats exactly what i thought aswell when i discovered her material like 6 months ago.(yes i knew about call me maybe and I really like you but i usually dont care about pop or mainstream music and didnt care to check out her material before) but there was something in her character combined with her music that makes her so damn genuine and likeable compared to anything else in mainstream music today. her voice is so affectious and mesmerizing. i wish i could see her live one day.
@@m00rtin4 yes... it took me a long time to finally give the emotion album a chance but when i finally did, which was recently, i was HOOKED, like i havent been able to stop listening to it especially after watching all her live renditions of the tracks. her energy is soooo infectious and she enjoys herself so much she loves being in the moment with everyone enjoying the show together with her and that's why i'm so infatuated with her, im so happy im finally in this cult lol
Almost six years later, this still never fails to make me smile.
The look on Carly's face at the end when everyone was singing along is one of the things that makes life worth living.
