Hello, I am a sculptor, way out of range of galleries, well actually there are quite a few galleries in my area, Pittsburgh, PA, and a friend of mine, who also teaches in Lucca Italy, has his work shown in a few galleries here, however, when I spoke with the curator they take 80% of the sale of his work. I found this not only ridiculously outrageous, but very offensive. It turned me off to galleries. There is one small gallery which may be possible but I have avoided asking their take on sales. Also, although at this point my sculptures are small enough to manage, I eventually want to create larger pieces which complicates the effort. Not actually asking you for any info, just wanted to vent a bit I guess.

I here you man! The cut that galleries take on the most part is something that never sat right with me. Thanks for the comment and all the best with your work!
