For other beginners like me I found a cheap syma x20. Have auto hover and auto land,for us that have a problem getting my other quad copters to do yet ,I just ordered it can't wait.

I stuck the super light FX797 camera with removed case, ziptie rollbar, and micro losi connectors on my eachine E010 and it barely flies with the stock 150 or 200mah batteries. I'm using full throttle just to stay in the air and hardly any flight time.
I love it! I immediately ordered one. I am trying to figure this hobby out still, and haven't gotten the courage to order a radio and drone kit, but I did put some FPV gear on an RC car and was amazed by how fun FPV is. Are you going to put FPV on this? I want to see it!
I noticed that at high altitude (Tahoe vs Santa Cruz, CA) this thing really struggles noticeably more with a small FPV camera attached (stock motors and battery). I discovered this on a trip.
With the non standard plug on there, are there any replacement batteries available with that plug? or will one just have to hack it and install a standard plug? micro Losi?
are there any good inexpensive quads with acro? im used to flying a 6ch helicopter and i tried a wltoys quad and it kept self leveling. it was annoying.

Knowing ahead of time the F36 FC doesn't seem to be bindable to aftermarket TX's quite yet--which aftermarket FC do you recommend I get in order to make the F36 bindable to the Evo TX?

We have just received our E010 today as something to learn how to fly quad copters (we did have an Hubsan before it crashed on our second flight) before going for the Wizard as we (me and my 15 year old son) are we are totally sold on this hobby purely by your enthusiasm. However we have problem we can't get the E010 to hover or stay still, is it faulty or do we just need to keep practising! Any help would be appreciated!

No, she is just confused 😐about upcoming marketable &valuable skills as well as the difference between cheap junk and quality inexpensive drone... Eachine are great I had an H8 model last me a year thousands of flights both before and after an engine change repair. I am getting two more of those and trying one of these as the blades look more sturdy&protected. With the H8, probably this one too you can cut the throttle immediately after it begins to flip a mOMent after click its action 🎬button and it will cause it to spin rapidly allowing for 2-4 indoor flips when timed correctly especially if you do it while it's gaining altitude. This technique done outdoors can net a dozen flips at once when done from 100ft or so and the recovery gap(at least for H8) is easier the faster it flips especially when double tapping the throttle when catching it for arial repositioning, I could pull this multi flip trick successfully 9 times out of 10 at least and it felt next level, I have yet to see any do the same and have not flown drones for a while So I am psyched to get after it again. Eachine are quality 👌most resilient I had found for mini sized Quadcopters. Your mom probably has already decided that you won't be able to learn, be good, have fun, or maintain your new toy. This is a sad 😥and broken/backward mindset she personally feels stuck in with her own endeavors, dreams/desires and so she is simPly projecting her frustrations externally onto what she thinks she can dominated psychologically in order to compensate for those mentioned insecurities of hers. Prove her wrong by learning to pilot a Craft that was not even available/existed when she was a child or even young adult. Considering the price, technology and the skill set gained also its often an outdoor activity its sort of nuts to harp against it so mindlessly, given the implications and significance at hand. Learning to fly then flip with control will be several dozen hours, compared to most video games or movies that's alot more value. Model that comparison to her with price and investment to nearly any other real cool fun hobby and nearly all else will fall short, say perhaps a Hacky Sac, Boomerang, Flow Arts 🎨(poi,staff ect.) Or musical instrument, those have been more universal for me, though Drone's are becoming increasingly more popular. Worth noting the H8 mini has the fast Yaw of any quadCopter giving it exceptional control with its fast speed, this e010 looks to be similar and close. i am an beginner and just went with the blade nano qx2, any advice on replacement props? i found some aftermarket bullnose props that look more legit than the factory ones, I'm wondering if you've tried anything like that on a mini, thanks

the elevation on mine is hard to keep it from hitting the sealing , its very polar. my syma I Ikeep it slow speed indoors alot easyer to control. the e010 `s lift indoors for me makes less fun , to bad you can`t slow it down, if u can please reply
CareFree mode is the same as Head Free mode where the quad remembers the forward position when turning it on and uses that as forward no matter what direction it is facing.
Prometheus McKim I no it doesnt have GPS,if you look it up there are videos showing ,if you press the front two buutons,it will do altitude hold,then push the same two buttons it will auto land,I have watch videos showing how it all works,and for me that will be a great help

There are modules to buy but you are better off getting a used already modded (with deviation) walkera radio. You can use that as a trainer with your taranis

Great drone! The JJRC H36 is even better. JJRC is the orginal manufacturer of this drone. Eachine buys it rebranded from JJRC
Stick a couple of nylon standoffs onto the remote sticks to make them longer. I did that with mine and it made a huge difference
I got this transmitter module that plugs into my taranis for 10$ at bangoods. it works awsome, I highly recommend it.

beerotor has a flight controller that supports Beta flight for the Inductrix frsky receiver,or dsmx
works great for eachine quads among others multi protocol works with a few different toy grade brands. real handy

Yes you can actually, you don't need a new board, all you need is Goebish's NRF24L01 module and you can set the protocol to be able to bind to it.

No cheap quad will have GPS. Though you can always just add GPS on to a standard quad platform.
