I got an E010 last week, it flew for one day and then I had a motor fail. Seller was absolutely useless and offered me a $2 refund or something. I had a motor in a parts chopper and I fitted that but now it seems to have a battery issue, so I'm thinking I will change 4 motors to ones like you're showing and the battery. For the day it ran, it was easily the best and most fun quad I have. I have a ceiling fan in my lounge room and I try to land my quads on the blade. My micro quad, after 3 days of practice I was able to do it, but the E0101 was able to get there first time trying. I'll definitely be ordering some new motors very soon. Good video and thanks for the info.
I would think motor failure on these would be fairly rare, especially due to crashes on the top will come to rest on our camera, must have been defective motor. I have been running the readymaderc.com strix motors. Others are good two. I have two videos up testing max thrust for 6.5mm motors. I am planning a whoop battery style test soon.
Thanks. But many many more. Maybe you can fly "blind" better than I can. After they burn out, spray paint them and put them back up. My 6yr old tore then all down today and claimed them. :)
Just ordered one myself. I see no differences, non that makes any difference anyways. I plan on setting mine up as soon as I get it,sometime in the next month or so. Banggood is slowwww on sending anything.
I have a question. I been watching your videos for a little while now and I need to know when I solder the the power lead to the bored do I solder to the same ones the stock wires are connected to? I been using an outside power source for my mini x4 and my punch is not the best so I need to lower the weight and power the camera from the bored. I just don't know where to solder the wires. Can you tell me where I solder the power lead for the camera? Thank you.
Solder to the top of the power pins. in this video ruclips.net/video/0IFja3D7_UU/видео.html pause when I show the close up view of the soldering. That will show you which pin is positive and negative.
Ok I'm going to watch it now thank you very very much!!! What I did was splice the wires on thre cam and my quads power lead and put them together so that worls great to. But I'm gunna check out your way.
the 205 batteries are more desirable than the 175s because of the higher c it can push to the motors.5.1a for the bigger and 4.3a for the smaller. same C rating but larger capacity means higher possible amperage. good video
they have an incredibly stable platform too. Even though they are small, they are much less irradic then most of the smaller quads out there. It sucks that the battery goes down so fast. I am in the process of making me one. I took advantage of Banggoods sale last month and got them for $12 each. For the money, its woth it for the fun you get. My rabbit doesnt care much for it though. I want to invest in the better motors and am waiting for the camara. Like you said, for the price, you can buy several of them or the camara. Its all good eather way. lots of fun!
Question, is the camera automatically switched on when the power is turned on or is there a way of turning it off and on using the remote that comes with the E010?
Probably a dumb question, but is the connection to the longer battery the same connection as the factory setup? will the same batteries also work? i have a few original batteries for mine, and would like to try the longer ones... but wanna know if i can run both with the new cable
I don't think I understand. The E010 battery cage can be modded to accomodate a longer battery if that is the question. Cut the battery cage and wrap a rubber band around the area.
Nick Burns sorry mate, the cage is fine thats what i was planning on doing, i meant like the two pin socket on the longer batteries, is it the same as the original battery socket? cheers
ah, no its different. I used a connector from the left over camera lead. It fits the traditional tiny whoop style batteries. Opening up brand purchase options.
you can't, brushed and brushless esc are very different. There is a heavy mod to change the esc to be able to run brushless motors, much more than I would take on.
build my first micro, eachine e100 cant take 60mm props, not even 55mm ones :/ removed the posts so i can still fly. i lost 7grams over the h107c, at 45 grams with battery.will upload a vid soon about the build :)
I believe the early flight controller boards have motor wires mislabeled. In my original E010 video it is noted which wires. As to the battery connector stock its fine with stock batteries, but in this video I added a battery led to the top of the flight controller to use smaller batteries more traditional with the tiny whoop batteries.
My recollection is about 4mins, I think my original E010 video has non-fpv flight. Using two batteries would have to be wired up in a series, so not to increase the voltage above 3.7volts, otherwise the board would fry. There is also diminished returns, two batteries increases the weight and there is only so much thrust we can get from the 6.5mm motors and micro props.
Hey all. I have the same Quad, and I'm trying to use it with a 3.7V 240mAh 45C Battery. This battery has different plug(little thinner then the original) and I have a problem. When I plug in the battery, the rotors starts immediately at full throttle. No led indicator, just the props going crazy. Any suggestion?
Thanks for your review. One question: My E010 (and I have two now) always bounces around. It is really hard to hold the altitude. Any hint? Thanks in advance.
I presume it hasn't always been this way? Could be time or new battery if a lot of cycles or new motors....they do wear down/out. A worn out brushed motor produces heat with the energy instead of thrust. You can check the motors with a touch.
Can i ask as a beginner with deviation on my devo 7e, how do i get my E010 to bind? Ive installed the nrf module and have even downloaded the model file for my h8 mini and that binds great. Ive seen the builds on the deviation website but i dont know how to use them, could you please tell me how you got yours to bind? Many thanks
I don't know if the goebish build has been incorporated into a nightly or other build. I do know the build I linked in the video works. You download and use the defuse tool to update your devo firmware. Backup your model file directory.
its really really easy to change leds for the money.I actually have a white 2 mm led knocking around in my collection of leds. The blue led is useless even in the day time. I have no problem grabbing the soldering iron and swapping out that crappy blue light. Its all about what you feel like spending really. Cost wize,I will stay with the Echine model. Its all personal taste.
The copper pads on the E010 for the red and blue wires are miss labeled. Common wiring is red is positive (+) or voltage and black is ground. In the case of red and blue the red is still positive or voltage and blue is ground. The pad the blue wire is soldered to is labeled M+ but its actually the ground and the label the red wire is on is M- but is actually + or voltage.
thx man, will be waiting for updates! also, want ask you some tricky question haha :)) if we back off the difference in price between E010 and Inductrix. how much better whoop is (with FPV, same battery and motors)? for example... if we say the Whoop 10/10, what rating would you give to E010 ?
okay. I can't be sure I am weighing the correct one..I put them all in one storage bin. So I weigh them all. They are either .5grams or .4grams. Either way, very light and good for whoopin. Part 2, that is a slippery question. I need to break it down a bit further. If we only consider how it flys in fpv E010 9.3/10. I think the inductrix is a bit more precise and the throttle curve is slightly better. Not thrust, how the throttle stick controls the step of throttle, if that makes an sense. Now if we only consider the hardware design, layout, E010 11/10. I think the frame is going to last through many more crashes than the inductrix, the struts in the E010 are more substantial the parts of the frame that connect the inductors are more substantial, the inductrix FC will fit as well as the bee brain FC. The inductrix tends to break the struts. This is my opinion, time will tell if the frame holds up like I think it will. I would also say stock the E010 is more FPV capable than the inductrix.
big thanks for your review! i have an inductrix (but it's not flying yet because of module for taranis) and i think will buy this boy for tests or mb for spare parts :)
Sure. There are cameras with a better image or stronger video transmitters, but they come in over 8grams and ground or nearly ground the E010 and Inductrix.
No worries. The Eachine E010 is featured in this video which is the black and green. The Tiny Whoop is the clear and white. The E010 can be purchased from banggood.com the Tiny whoop is the Blade inductrix from horizon hobby. Both need to have a camera added to it as they are in this video. I recommend the FX798T.
Don't know what all the fuss is about just spent £40 on e010 and camera etc it's way too heavy lasts about 30 seconds on 180mah has so little throttle it drops to the ground after every directional input until they bring out a camera below 2 grams forget it !

another great video nick, those glow bracelets are a great idea for night time gates!
Thanks. But many many more. Maybe you can fly "blind" better than I can. After they burn out, spray paint them and put them back up. My 6yr old tore then all down today and claimed them. :)
Nick, it's a Whoopalike, that's the term I'm using for them.
that's a good on too.
Yup. The loose batteries cause an instability/shddering. I use black foam on each side; small pieces from some packing foam.
I did find using loom bands on the horizontal posts tighten it up nicely.
I'm using the frame and props from this with a Silerwared board H8mini and H101for a fully tuneable Whoopalike I call the SilverWhoop.
I haven't done any experimenting with the silverware. Seems like something I might try this winter.
+Nick Burns yeah, a good winter project
Just ordered one myself. I see no differences, non that makes any difference anyways. I plan on setting mine up as soon as I get it,sometime in the next month or so. Banggood is slowwww on sending anything.
get ready for indoor fun.

good video
I don't find a punch difference when using the 175 or 205 mylipo batteries, but maybe I don't hit it hard enough to notice.
they have an incredibly stable platform too. Even though they are small, they are much less irradic then most of the smaller quads out there. It sucks that the battery goes down so fast. I have been flying the stock one all over the house.lol.
They are good fun. I fly one of them just about each night before bed. :)
Nice video Nick, though I can't find the gnarly motors on the link.
gnarly motors www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2728963&highlight=gnarlyspintech motors www.spintechmotors.com/collections/spintech
Banggood has the E010 for 10.99 today I had to get another one👍
+Steve B I ordered one myself, they have some crazy sales going on right now
Nice, love you setup with the lights, LOL
Thanks
Great drone! The JJRC H36 is even better. JJRC is the orginal manufacturer of this drone. Eachine buys it rebranded from JJRC

Sure. I hope I have helped.
Hi sir nick have you ever try changing brushless motors for E010?
you can't, brushed and brushless esc are very different. There is a heavy mod to change the esc to be able to run brushless motors, much more than I would take on.
Nice vid. Butcsorry I don't get a thing, you used tge devo tx just with the inductrix or also with the e010?
thanx
I actually used the devo with both. It requires deviationtx firmware on the devo and the nrfl module to control the E010.
build my first micro, eachine e100 cant take 60mm props, not even 55mm ones :/ removed the posts so i can still fly. i lost 7grams over the h107c, at 45 grams with battery.will upload a vid soon about the build :)
I look forward to seeing it.
cool vid. I thought these whoop models are reversed polarity? Did you already reverse it before the vid or did I get the wrong information. Thanks.
I believe the early flight controller boards have motor wires mislabeled. In my original E010 video it is noted which wires. As to the battery connector stock its fine with stock batteries, but in this video I added a battery led to the top of the flight controller to use smaller batteries more traditional with the tiny whoop batteries.
Appreciate the info. enjoyed the vid...
thanks for clarifying that uses devo7e with modded for your flight controller
sure. I nearly forgot.
I hope to get a Devo 7e mod done soon. For a better flight experience. With my Whoope
So those are the 8mm spintechs motors in the E010? Thats what is in the thrust test video. Didn't know they would fit, thanks for the great video!
no, they are 6mm spintechs in the inductrix and 6mm gnarly motors in the E010
+Nick Burns ah cheers. Have you tested the 6mm spintechs for thrust? dw if you haven't, thanks for the quick reply
+dwarvenwarrior333 nvm sorry just saw other thrust test for 6mm...
I am planning another 6mm thrust test. Seems "new" motors pop up regularly now.
+Nick Burns yeah. Been looking for someone like you to post tests, keep up the great work
just for no fpv whats the battery life like and can u link up 2 of those whoopjuice batteries to increase the runtime
My recollection is about 4mins, I think my original E010 video has non-fpv flight. totally amazing great job great vid. you shown the way to make this a great hobby. thank you
Its like the bumper stickers. A bad day flying is better than a day without flying.
I'm sorry if I missed it, however did you fly the E010 with the stock radio or your Taranis?
yes in my original review was all stock but with fpv gear. ruclips.net/video/vRDLGNe6Wj0/видео.html
So this video were with the Taranis?
No, I don't have a taranis. Devo 7e.
for your fpv camera on the quad what are you using to see it with in flight your cell phone or a monitor. thank you
I primarily use the KDS Kylin Vision Goggles.
Thank you Nick

797t vs 798t fpv for this little done which one will work the best. i am getting ready to order one these cameras soon thank you
798t. The coax gives us just a touch of damage forgiveness and if we transfer to another vehicle we can adjust where the lobes are if we need to.
Can i ask as a beginner with deviation on my devo 7e, how do i get my E010 to bind?
Ive installed the nrf module and have even downloaded the model file for my h8 mini and that binds great.
Ive seen the builds on the deviation website but i dont know how to use them, could you please tell me how you got yours to bind?

can we bind this to a spectrum radio att all ..or is there a way to use pro radios ?
The only way I am aware of is if it has the nrf24l01 module, or one of the multi modules that includes it.
??
look on banggood.com. I am not aware if this type of module (radio) works in non-devo radios.
How about something like a scisky fcb?
I have to dig out my H8 mini fcb and try to flash it.
The scisky would have to ride on the whoops. I think we wait 45days and see if we see an F3 flight controller made for it.
how much is weight of FPV mount from banggood? in description says weight is 2 gramms, but its too much i think... it is true?
That's a good question. I don't think I have ever weighed them. I will follow up this comment when I can get one weighed.
thx man, will be waiting for updates!
also, want ask you some tricky question haha :))

would this work with the devo 7?
unfortunately no. Devo 7e yes. Also the nrfl23l01 module is needed.
There are you shop Tiny Whoop?
Sorry, I don't understand.
Sorry, I'm bad with the English language.Where do you buy Tiny Whoop?
No worries. The Eachine E010 is featured in this video which is the black and green. The Tiny Whoop is the clear and white. The key to getting these to fly reasonably is a light camera. I use the FX798T, take the case off and clip the power led comes in about 4.5 grams.
👍😎
10.99 right now on Banggood!!!
yes. I have two more coming.
yes. I have two more coming.
+Nick Burns Right now they just increased the price to 19.98 and are backordered to the 21st.
Dang. I hope everyone who wanted one got at least one. I am sure there are more to follow. I know gearbest has a JJRC version in black and blue.
He dn`t needt four Propblade, when you cut two of this he flight one Minute more!
