    Ainge lost in the finals to MJ back to back years in 92 and 93, and in 94 and 95 he lost to Olajuwon in 7 games in the western conference semis both times. It's not unrealistic at all to think he would have had 6 rings were it not for these 2 guys.

      kurod amon if they would sweep the warriors than why didn't bulls make their record impossible to beat?? Clearly GSW is trying to defeat every record in the book... all curry needs now is 101 points to beat wilts record and than GSW legally becomes the best team to ever play since they have beaten pretty much all the records.

    • @keithglass4891
      @keithglass4891 7 лет назад +6

      What does the record have to do with being able to sweep GS? If you can't see clearly that this league is so wide open offensively than you don't understand why that 72 win mark was possible now. Did you see the team they beat in this video? The players they ran up on every night? How physical they were allowed to play with fouls being called. Not to mention every team had three point shooters. The NBA had to get more exciting after MJ and the other legends left. No hand checking, no arm bars. It's no wonder why there are so few players in the league now who square up offensive players or shade them to the off-hand. Maybe they wouldn't have sweep GS but you have to understand why someone would think they could.

      Shaq is a clown. Pippen was underpaid for the first half of his career and had to earn his money, that's why he's so great. Shaq was paid right away from the start. He was lazy and disrespectful to the game. So Shaq needs to stfu every time there's a discussion about these men Jordan-Pippen-Rodman-Olajuwon-Drexler and other oldschool all time greats who did have a lot of respect to the game and to the fans.

    I love all these Jordan haters on here; especially the ones saying Horace Grant or a rebounding power forward was the reason why the Bulls won. First of all, no one said this nonsense during the first three-peat. Yes, Horace had his role just like Paxson, Armstrong, King, Livingston even Hodges for that matter. It's called a team game. Jordan gets more recognition because he was just the best player on the team and in the league!! Then I see people saying Jordan got all the calls? Please! Was he getting all the "calls" when he had to go against Detroit? The Knicks? Also, someone on here said they moved in the three point line and because of 6 expansion teams and the Bulls won 72 games? (rolls eyes) You're really reaching with that one-and actually they could of been 74-8 if they didn't rest their starters the last two games. And they could of won 70 games the following season as well (69-13). The NBA has and will always have BAD teams and good teams. Don't hate because the Bulls have the best regular season record of all-time!! These same "Jordan Haters" are probably still buying or have bought his shoes.

      chapaev36 of course he was their best player but he did not do everything . hIS job on offense was to score. he could play the passing lanes but scottie was better overall in defense . he always had great rebounder and defenders to help immensely . when people talk about the bulls , I think about defense FIRST and jordans fade aways and clutch shots comes after that lol. Jordan WAS A GREAT PLAYER BUT LETS NOT ACT LIKE HE WAS AVERAGING A TRIPLE DOUBLE LIKE OSCAR OR MAGIC AND BIRD WHO CAME CLOSE TO IT

    • @ryanr20091

      YOU ARE CHERRYPICKING WITH THE ADAVANCED STATS AND I COULD SHOW STATS THAT WERE NOT IN JORDANS FAVOR THIS IS WHERE YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE GAMES AND NOT JUST LOOK ON BASKETBALL REFRENCE . PIPPEN SHUTS HIS OPPPONENTS DOWN AND FROM 93 ON PIPPEN WAS FLAT OUT BETTER DEFENSIVELY . JORDANS BEST YEARS WERE IN THE LATE 80S AND EARLY NINETIES. NOTICE IN THE SECOND THREEPEAT IT WAS PIPPEN TAKING ON THE TOUGHER ASSIGNMENTS . Was Jordan a good defender? Yes.
      2. Was he the best defender in his team? No.
      3. Was he the second best defender? No.
      4. Did handchecking make defense easier? Yes.
      5. Do people mention handchecking when discussing about Jordan's offense? Yes.
      6. Do people mention handchecking when discussing about Jordan's defense? No.
      7. Is Jordan GOAT? Arguably Yes.
      8. Do people usually think Jordan is the god of basketball? Yes.

    • @JJermane
      @JJermane 10 лет назад +5

      ryanr20091 Actually if you check Jordan's stats from 88-89, he nearly did come close to a triple double- 32.5 points, 8.0 rebs, 8.0 assts, and 2.9 steals per game.

    • @JJermane
      @JJermane 10 лет назад +4

      ryanr20091 You are correct with Pippen, but Jordan lead the league in steals three times, was defensive player of the year, and was one of a few players who had 200 plus steals and 100 plus blocks in back to back seasons. The other is Olajuwon.

      @ryanr20091 10 лет назад

SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT THAT FEAT WAS NEVER ACHIEVED BY ANYONELSE , INCLUDING IN THAT ERA . WHY DIDNT ANYONE ELSE PUT UP THOSE RIDICULOUS NUMBERS. JORDAN WILL NEVER THE FULL COMPLETE PLAYER OSCAR MAGIC BIRD WAS. LEGACY WISE YOU CAN SAY HES BETTER HES ONLY BETTER BECAUSE OF THE RING COUNT . Jay Scribe reggie miller, scottie pippen, gary payton, reggie lewis, joe dumars -- jordan was not unguardable by any means... but the person who gave him the most hell was vernon maxwell; again, go back and look at those games. and olajuwon's rockets got past ewing's knicks too , with only 1 superstar (olajuwon). in fact, olajuwon is the only player in nba history to win a title with no other super star. the team was incredibly good, and i think they could have taken jordan, or at the very least, gave him a solid run for his money in 7. back to the original point, even jordan himself has said maxwell gave him incredible headaches on defense. even horry gave him problems defensively when they matched up.

    Love this one. I remember watching it on cable and just as at the moment it ended I knew the Bulls were going to win the NBA. THIS was the game to win. Not only because Houston was Jordan's toughest rival during the years of their first 3 peat, but because they were reigning champions and had 3 all stars.

    • @bournedevinesupreme
      @bournedevinesupreme 2 года назад

      The Jordan's toughest rival were the Knicks and arguably the Pacers. A few teams (Knicks, Suns, Sonics, Jazz, Spurs, Rockets) always seem to have the Bulls number during the regular season, but always got dominated in the playoffs. With the exception of the Magic, which was more of a fluke than anything.

    • @sergegrone
      @sergegrone 2 года назад

      The Kicks, Pacers, Supersonics and Suns had negative records against Jordan's Bulls. Maybe the Knicks represented a tougher opponent, specially in the 1992, 1993 and 1994 playoffs, but they were usually defeated in the regular season and playoffs.
      About the rest, the Spurs were a tough nut to crack, but in the end Jordan had a positive record against them.
      Only the Rockets, the Lakers, the Jazz and Bird's Celtics had positive records against Chicago between 1984 and 1998.
      And Jordan's Bulls managed to beat the Lakers and the Jazz in the NBA Finals, so their record was kinda even.
      The Celtics with Larry Bird were a pain in the ass for Jordan, but when Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant arrived, the Bulls slowly began to even the cards. And after Larry retired, Chicago basically destroyed the Celtics until MJ himself retired.
      That leaves only the Rockets as Chicago's toughest rival...had they both met in the 1994 and 1995 finals, I believe they would've split victories. During Chicago's second 3 peat, MJ would've beaten The Dream, but in the first 3 peat I'm not so sure. They had no answer for Hakeem, but MJ was a fucking beast in the finals.

      The pre injury Ralph Sampson and Olajuwon led Rockets that went on the road and laid a unexpected beating on a heavily favored Showtime Lakers squad in the midst of winning titles weren't better than losing Jordan and his under .500 bum ass Bulls? 😂

      Oh I get it....pre 87-88 loser Jordan should not be brought up at all, it doesn't fit the Jordan loon agenda, does it? LOL.
      Nor should the Rockets be brought up before Sampson was injury prone and 4 Rockets around Hakeem were thrown out the NBA for drugs, being seen as THE team of the future. So much so that in the 1986 offseason there was a unprecedented amount of trades, drafts for any big body that could dribble a basketball. Wasn't nobody scheming for Jordan's losing ass lol.
      Nah its only "fair" to start comparing once the fortunes in Chicago changed for the better, while things were headed downwards in Houston. When Jordan has Pippen, the GOAT coach whereas as Hakeem until clyde otoh is surrounded by a cast of career scrubs.
      Houston won their rings yes, they never suffered even 1 single loss vs Orlando. The most dominant winning Finals performance of the decade, didnt even involve the Bulls. 😉I can't say that for the "90s most dominant team" regarding Orlando, they had to take a L from them before they got it right.

    Hand Checking: A defender may not place and keep his hand on an opponent unless he is in the area near the basket with his back to the basket. @GRiMxSG what are you talking about..the hand checking rule is still in effect today, it was put in place in 1994.

    Hakeem was the best I ever saw live,he was so fast and polished.I saw the Bulls twice in 96,once in the reg season and gm 4 of the finals,they lost both games and Jordan didn't do very well either game.Jordan to me is the best ever,he was so damn good......I miss the Sonics,we in the Northwest got screwed over bad in that deal.Don't let your stadiums run down or they'll steal your team,even if you've had them over 40yrs and still drew over 13,000 people on bad yrs.

    Olajuwon: 2 champs, 2 final MVP, 1 reg. MVP.
    Jordan: 6 champs, 6 final MVP, 5 reg. MVP.
    Olajuwon is a great player, but incomparable with Jordan.
