- So here I go over my final thoughts about the stick and clear up some stuff I may have left out in the previous unboxing video. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll answer them.

it’s so frustrating that for 250 to 400 dollars all these sticks are just overpriced shells. it’s absurd. I want an etokki korean lever or something similar but they are not ps5 compatible out of the box, you have to import blah blah blah
with how popular tekken is why can’t we just get a damn korean tekken stick 😡
idk why we can’t just get a good tekken style korean lever right out of the box. it’s absurd all sticks are just japanese with square gates
there’s no option to customize the sticks on the site anymore….any idea?
I actually use the middle 4 buttons and have for a long time. The L buttons on the left and R buttons on the right makes much more sense to me. Also when you have your hand on the middle 4 "action" buttons you can still reach all the L and R buttons without moving your hand too much.
imo you're supposed to use k-levers by barely actuating them, not slamming them to the edge.
if you bring them to the edge your inputs will be very slow because of the distance between neutral and actuation
Ready to pull the trigger, but I saw a comment that the plastic is thin/low quality. Did you find this to be the case, or is it overall very solid? Thanks!
This seems to be a common question and the answer seems to vary between people. For my stick, the plastic is a good thickness, and does not seem to be low quality, but I may have gotten lucky with a good batch of MakeStick Prime’s! So if you wanna play the lottery and see what you get, I’d say go for it because my stick is VERY SOLID, no creeks, no creases, heavy, customized to my liking, and feels nice when I rest my hand on it! But, if you want something that may have a more consistent and solid build quality but perhaps not with the exact parts you want, I’d suggest looking into the Qanba Obsidian 2, Etokki Omni, or if you’re Mr.Moneybags, check out the Victrix! These 3 seem to have a lot of fans for them, they’re fantastic sticks for modding and playing with outright! But the one gripe about them is, good luck on the hunt for a K-lever if that’s what you’re looking for, because they seem to still be pretty hard to find anywhere but ISTMALL!
Hey bro, hows the bottom part of this stick? does it have some sort of rubber to keep it from sliding from your lap? or is it just all plastic? Im really planning to buy this stick after seeing it on your channel.
@@damonlove8 yo, the bottom does have a nice grippy layer of rubber on it! Basically the entire bottom is covered in it, and Knee plays with it on his lap, so if he’s comfy with it like that, I assume everyone should be alright with lap playing the MakeStick prime 👍👍👍

@@damonlove8 hey thanks for watching man! so right now I’m just using the victrix cause it’s new and I like new shit lol. I’m lucky to have enough cash money to have both, but I think the battle between the two is very subjective. It depends on the game you play, the size and color you like, the material you prefer, how important aesthetics and ergonomics is, how good out of the box it is, and many more factors! To put it simply, both are the correct answer, IST is probably better out the box for tekken because you can order it with a k lever and your preferred buttons, but the stock stuff on the victrix is great as well. Basically, no choice is bad, they’re both incredible, if I only had cash for one, I’d go IST Makestick cause I’m a tekken player and I like a k-lever out the box, but the peak build with customization is probably the victrix, the outside metal body with the purple color paired with a little effort and extra parts makes this stick a beast, but it’ll cost ya!

I seriously thought about buying the Victrix first because it really looks like the Lambo of Arcade Sticks. but what really turned me off is that Ive seen youtubers have a hard time putting in some Korean levers in them & had to basically ruin them from the inside (Hurtbox channel) just to put in a K lever in them. plus the fact that it does not have a L3 & R3 buttons too. I really dont mind spending money on something (ask my wife about it lol) thats future proof (3-5yrs), well made & aesthetically beautiful. thats why Im glad you presented that Makestick Prime man. having other options is what America is all about lol
@@damonlove8 the crazy people putting in their high collar k levers having to file open the hole are doing gods work lol. Hopefully victrix opens that hole up to fit every and all of them. Free market on top though!

can you list what your order looked like online? i went to their website and im very very confused the website is in a different language there’s a translate to english option but im afraid of screwing up
i was the guy who talked about ur layout ....i wans't talking about buttons lay out ,if noir or viewlix . i was talking about space between lever and buttons.
standard korean set up is lever and button have more space between!

@@deathofowl all the noir layouts I’ve seen have more space between lever and buttons. It’s the viewlix layout where the lever is close to the buttons. Regardless you can look at the website if you want and see for yourself.

I'm expecting a Makestick prime myself. I ordered it with cross up button additions. Nice to see a vid about to get a sense of the scale.
How and/or where did you get the cross up button additions? I was interested in getting one like that. Did you just do it from the istmall where you get the top plate crossup?

they also recently started offering the crossup version straight on their website too which is the one I got recently

I wanted to ask, how does it feel when you rest your arm on the stick, I saw that some people said it felt painful on their left hand since the gaps of the stick dig into them a bit
For me personally, it’s immensely comfortable. Haven’t had any issues of the gaps poking into my hands, but that might just be my stick. If you’re worried about something along these lines I’d suggest picking up an Qanba Obsidian 2 since those have like half a mile of space between the stick and the edge lmao

Victrix pro fs vs makestick x prime ?
@@halimodz5911 Victrix has superior out of the box quality in my opinion, but it has only Japanese parts in it, meaning no K-lever. You’d have to mod it to get it to your exact specs which might not be something everyone is interested in doing. Makestick X Prime is good for getting the EXACT individual parts you want inside your arcade stick already, perfectly assembled, no out of box modification needed. Both are pricy, but it would cost more to buy a victrix with all the aftermarket parts you want, not to mention the time and effort required to install those parts. In some cases, Makestick X Prime might be less expensive. Me personally, I really like the metal shell of the victrix, but not it’s base parts. I am thinking about picking up a victrix for future modifications and display purposes though!

But I been thinking about getting this case. I really would like the Knee version but it's always out of stock.
@@RollTide8569 I kind of regret not getting the Knee lever just for how sweet it looks, but I thought since it was my first Korean lever I wanted the traditional bat top, not that weird rounded one Knee has on his lever

that lever does have an odd looking shape. i dunno if i would like it until i try it.
@@zmaxlee you could've just ordered the knee lever and ordered a traditonal bat top. The IST bat top fits.
