@@Actually_Woke_6277 that's me at all of her reveals. You go through the story & right when she says "Now" & the image begins to shine through... I don't know why it gets me emotional, but it does. I wish we could know what they all truly looked like. This is the closest thing IMO.
What a wonderful recreation. I think you really did her justice by combining her sisters sketch with descriptions of her. The closest we could get with out her skull as far as I'm concerned

I think you did a fantastic job capturing how she looked from contemporary descriptions and the amateur painting by her sister. I think you nailed it! The image you created perfectly matches what firsthand people describe! ❤
There was a print of this portrait on the wall of my local library through the 80s and 90s. I grew up seeing this picture every thursday morning and I know it so well. It is amazing to see it brought to life like this, and hands down the most plausible reconstruction ever.
This! Yes! I second the emotion, brought about by your amazing work of art (of another amazing work of art. Jane herself). Her sister would be so proud. You have done them all justice. Thank you for This!
This is hands-down my favorite video of yours yet. It warmed my heart to learn about how closely-knit and loving the family was. I cried at the part where you told us Henry had her last two books published--something I'm sure was difficult given their financial situation--and revealed his sister's identity. And her likeness I feel in my heart was spot on. Job well done. I loved this so much.

Wow. I had a surprisingly emotional response to the re-creation. You brought to life a kindred spirit whose books have guided me and befriended me, even now 30 years after first reading P&P. You beautifully and respectfully captured her essence.
I thought she was pretty in your portrait. Then she smiled and her whole face lit up. That is how I imagine her enjoying time with her family and friends. Thanks
As a huge Jane Austen fan, I must tell you that I completely enjoyed this recreation. Thanks SO much for doing this!! If I may, I suggest doing Mozart in the future.
This one got me. It feels so personal, like no other version of her could capture. I always had a difficult time reconciling the portraits with descriptions of her. This is the version that I will always remember now.
I always enjoy the biography portion of these historical figures, it makes the final reveal of what they might have actually looked like even more fun. I really didn't know much about Jane Austen before this, but I love how much of herself was written into her books. I'd love to see one of these videos about Louisa May Alcott. There are plenty of photographs of Louisa, but not a single one that makes her look anything other than grim and serious, though both her own writings, and the descriptions by her friends paint her out as a very lively, passionate, and good-humored person.
Your recreation of Jane from her sister's sketch made me laugh out loud in delight. And what a wonderfully detailed history you gave us first. Thanks for this.
Thank you so much for this recreation of one of my very favorite authors - it truly captures the vivacity and intelligence that is so evident in her books. Hers is a genius talent that withstands the test of time.
SO well envisioned! I believe it’s about as close and accurate a representation of Jane from that one picture that one could get. You really seem to capture the mischief, thoughtfulness, sparkle, liveliness, prettiness, as many described her. I believe they should use your representation on any pictures to describe Jane. Wonderful work! Such a pity that Jane could never know how fantastically successful her work has become.
The best portrayal of her! And what impresses me is that you managed to present all of these characteristics and descriptions of her beautifully! She looks beautiful, lively and fresh, with a witty, intelligent look in her eyes!
Omg this is such fun! I’m always excited for new videos but I’m doubly excited. Jane Austen was one of the sharpest women in history. I wish she had more wins professionally.
Knowing that "time" probably wasn't and issue in those days, the sisters could take as many hours as needed to redo, rewrite, reconstruct their hobbies and passions as they willed. So, I believe, using her loving sister's portrait of her for your motivation, has given you the most accurate reconstruction. Good job. Now onto Mary, Queen of Scots.
Jane was also a very strong Christian. She wrote many prayers and was devoted to the Lord throughout her life! You can still purchase a book of her prayers today.

Your recreation of Jane reminds me of Verity from the British TV series Poldark starring Aidan Turner. The modern actress and your recreation of Jane are spitting images of the other.

She even has that little spark in her eyes that you would definitely see with humor shining out at you like a star!! Thanks for that look at her. I love her books & have them all.😊
How wonderful. I love Jane Austen's works, and often think how fabulous she would have been as a dinner party guest, even a friend. She was such a loss to have passed away so young. Your facial reproduction is spine-tingling.
I first saw sense and sensibility when I was 13 and loved it. Today at 40 it is still one of my favourite love movies of all time. ❤
Beautiful! Reading the descriptions of her and seeing the portrait made me suddenly emotional. Jane Austen has given me so much, it touched my heart to see this thoughtful rendition. Well done!
The way you've created her eyes speaks volumes about her personality. Lovely
What a beautiful likeness! And that little mischievous smile, exactly how you would imagine Jane. Thank you!
Talking of royalty, Jane Austen was descended from John of Gaunt, via the Beaufort family.
The recreation looks so much like the sketch. Much better then the other renditions.
Your portrait puts me in the mind of Jennifer Ehle who played Elizabeth Bennet in the 1995 mini-series of Pride and Prejudice. Which was my favorite.
What an emotion inducing portrayal of our dear Jane. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
I really like your recreation of Jane because you can see in her face that famous humor and mysteriousness that she was so famous for.
Thank you so much for the short history of Austen and the lovely recreation. I actually didn't know much about her at all. This was so informative for me. Her life story really touched my heart. You always do outstanding work.
Thank you ❤️❤️
This was such a beautiful storytelling of Jane Austen. She's my favorite author.
The recreation actually brought tears to my eyes.
Your recreation of Jane reminds me of Verity from the British TV series Poldark starring Aidan Turner. The modern actress and your recreation of Jane are spitting images of the other.
OMG!! I had exactly the same thought! I swear! I didn't her name, and couldn't remember the movies I had seen her... Verity looks like she could have been Jane's sister or likeness! Absolutely! Perhaps, Jane was slightly prettier, but you nailed it! 😂
Just bought sense and sensibility and here you're with a recreation for Jane ❤
Absolutely what I pictured her to look like. Well done!
A wonderful rendering of the beloved Jane Austen! Well done!!!
Okay, that is brilliant. Those eyes really look like they have the intellect to write those books. Well done! Really well done!
I love your portrayal of her looks you show her intelligence, spark for life and her fun personality thank you so much for all these videos of your recreations of the faces of these famous people you're very talented young lady.
So glad I came across your channel, don't remember how long ago, because each of your videos is just wonderful. All aspects: research, chosen characters, music, narrative, voice, and the utmost respectful and traffic recreations. This one is no exception! Thank you for this beautiful way of honoring the great Jane Austen ❤❤❤
What a wonderful tribute to Austen. Thank you for an interesting and lively presentation of her life and her work. Her writings helped spark my love of reading while in high school! I'll never forget my first copy of Pride & Prejudice.
That is a wonderful recreation, you did her sisters portrait and her description justice. I’ve never liked the other portraits or renderings of her. This rendering you completed looks amazing.
Your voice is so soothing to listen to and as an Archivist I LOVE hearing about the history. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you!!
I remember a letter written by Jane Austen when she was all of 13 read out by Emma Corrin. Let’s just say she’d have the best Goodreads/StoryGraph and Letterboxd Account.
When the recreated Jane smiles and looks right at us - can't help but think this is what her sister Cassandra often saw.
I have watched this video several times since it was posted and still get chills with the final reveal. Someone who wrote “Pride and Prejudice” (my absolute favorite book) will always be beautiful to me. 💕
This is EXACTLY how I've imagined her to look! Stunning!
Your deep dive into the history of each person you feature is the reason I subscribed a while back. This is by far one of the best you have done. I love Jane Austin, for exactly the reasons you stated before you revealed what she may have looked like. Well done again. Oh and your recreation, WOW! Gave me goosebumps. (once again) you have a phenomenal talent.
