Colors look better on ride 4 but the mechanics look better on motogp 21. Motogp team either makes it too dark aur too colourful. Just make it balanced like ride 4

Big motogp player, ride 4 does have more details, motogp gets sold every year, so its a copy/paste type of game, and they add or change a few features, were as ride 4 has more time for improvement, but when it comes to riding and not graphics, motogp has a much more smoother transition when it comes to leaning into turns, and bike mechanics are on points, especially people who ride motorcycles in real life.

I prefer the colors of RIDE 4 and the bike model seems to be better connected and more realistic when moving around the track. MotoGP has slightly better sound (but both still far from the real things), I also like the extra detail in the mountains far away... but the colors are too game-ry and the bike model seems to be less connected with the track, as if it's slightly floating above it! Can't judge handling nor AI from a RUclips video as to which one is more satisfying or challenging...
Both games are good for hours of moto racing. Moto gp has some better graphics in my opinion and the only thing what disappoints with Ride is a maximum of 12 drivers on the road or circuit.
The physics of MotoGP seem way more realistic to me, the handling of the bike, weight-shifting etc all seems much more on point. Ride4 looks quite static and arcadey
Its not an issue or a bug. Most players complaining about the 'horrible braking' in MotoGP 2021 are too lazy to learn the new brake system.. Just practice in tt and it will be fine.

In MotoGP 21, the absence of air resistance and wind noise is noticeable, diminishing the sense of speed when compared to Ride 4. The racing experience at 200 km/h lacks the immersive feel. Additionally, the colors appear overly saturated.

For both game I can say that I dont feel the speed in the both game. while its going with 277km/H speed it feels like going with 100 km/h speed. Moto GP 21 is just cool about controlling the bike with joystick. Reaction of bike is more realistic. Still moto gp 2 is the best about feeling of speed
I’ve got to say, the physics on ride 4 seem to be better. There’s camera shake, much more physical feedback and more slipping. Not to mention the graphics and engine sounds. In a nutshell, MotoGP is more arcade like than ride 4. Ride 4 takes the win for me. Sorry moto gp stans but ride 4 is just a better game in general, in MY opinion 😁👌

Dont know if anyone else thinks the same, but why does the moto gp 21 rev metre look like ass? Change is nice and all but it looks like a border for the hud and doesnt even function that well. The 2020 one was miles better imo
Clicked on this video to see the graphics comparison. Whatever graphics engine ride 4 is using, it doesn't handle far away distance very well. I mean on track not the mountains. All looks kind of mucky kind of like the fog on an N64 racing game.
I'll assume by the name alone Ride 4 is the arcade game and MotoGP the pseudo simulator. They have the exact same markings on the road, is it the same developer? The could have just combined both games. If the courses are mimicking real life, which game is more accurate? You can see notable differences with the buildings in the background for the same course in both games. Judging by the static cameras in both games compared to the replay modes, there should definitely be the option of having this replay mod styled camera as it gives a much better sense of speed, unless there's an unofficial mod that does it
I know it's a personal preference but I wonder why? The colors are way too warm. Road is literally yellow. Shadows are so low resolution that you can barely make out the object that is casting the shadow (bike and biker). Track details are oversimplified and they added a ton of motion blur to compensate for the lack of details. All of this in a game that is 3 years newer AND has much less content to begin with!?

Heck you can even wear some tight leather pants and place a pillow between your thighs while playing to make it even more authentic. Then wrap a towel around your head to mimic a helmet and you'll finally have a 100% immersive bike simulator. I should get paid for my incredible creativity!
I can't believe the only thing people are discussing are the graphics. The biggest problem that all motorcycle games to date have are the physics...not the graphics. Visual improvement is a given in any new game but what counts is the feel of the game, not the look and still in 2021 motorcycle physics in games are terrible.
ride 4 souds sick. HOWEVER both games suck in giving the feel of speed. Holy crap is that bad. driving 290 looks like 60.. what happened to moto GP games.. MOtoGP2 had the best feel of speed with simulating the tunnel vision with blur and FOV change and tiny shakes.. damn...

That game is old as hell, but the sense of speed is amazing.. all thanks to changing FOV while accelerating and blurring out things that are out of focal point, and micro vibrations. I still play that game sometimes.. I've played ride 3 and previous motoGP games.. same problem. I remember some of the recent motoGP game that had horrible understeer as well... EDIT: hell, even MotoGP3 was already a massive downgrade, since they completely removed the tunnel vision... terrible..

MotoGP 20 is better and more fun than GP 21 and Ride 4 when it comes to pure riding with great feel against AI. However if you're interested in multiplayer GP 20 is dead and the few that play online are now on GP 21. With that said GP 21 is almost dead also in multiplayer compared to Ride 4 which is a bit more healthy even if it's not by much. If I choose between GP 21 and Ride 4 the choice is simple I would get Ride 4 and then I would grab a cheap copy of MotoGP 20 from some site to just play for the exciting races and great feel. Both games should of course be played with all assists off, pro realistic settings On with manual gear On to get the full satisfying experience.
Motogp 20 I would say, perfect balance of sim without being too hard or dull feeling. Ride 4 was nice also but it is a bit too much arcade for my taste. The fear of falling and riding on the edge of a crash is not there in Ride 4 even with full sim settings. It feels fast and nice tracks it's just that the bike doesn't feel as alive and real as in motogp 20 or 21 Motogp 21 I would say is too much sim so sense of speed and acceleration is suffering from it. You are afraid to push the limit in the same way as you do in 20. I would get 20 if you don't care for online multiplayer because it's dead in 20 but pretty much dead in 21 as well. When I checked yesterday Ride 4 seem to have a bit healthier multiplayer. I just wish the feel was a bit more like motogp 20 to give it a little more excitement.

The sound on the Ride 4 was on an annoying "notchy" loop that seemed too short.
Other companies need to make some bike games it's bad for quality having Milestone do whatever they feel like

Ride have some cool details MotoGp doesn't, like the sound of the wind around you.
If you change the camera view in MotoGP you can hear the wind too, or the muffled sound within your helmet from helmet view :)
Ride 4 has sharper graphics. Only need to compare rider shadow on the tarmac and colours in general are way sharper.

I definitely feel the opposite, and keep in mind MotoGP uses super grippy race bikes so that could be a factor

For whatever reason, I enjoy Ride 4 in helmet cam, but don't enjoy MotoGP in the same camera.
