Yeah, I know it's main use is shooting targets from below with that laser cannon, but they really give those ships a very obvious and large weak spot and barely any armor for some reason
@@blastmole299Normally they'd be covered by other PCA craft. The first time you take one down you need to deal with the LCs prior. They stand no chance in the mission where you have infinite energy and additionally there's no ground forces whatsoever.
You could read it like that, but the Cataphract mission explains it much more clearly. You stole the "Raven" mercenary license, and the PCA trains on simulator data of the pilots they're targeting. Since you stole the license, your training data doesn't match up with the data they'd expect from training. There's a few other places in the game where you run into similar dialog about you not actually being Raven.

From Wikipedia: "The ekdromoi were an ancient Greek light hoplites. The name means 'out-runners', and denotes their ability to exit the phalanx and fight in an irregular order, as the situation might demand. The ekdromoi were mostly lightly armoured (with aspis and bronze helmet) fast infantry and were armed with spear and short sword. The term would actually describe any hoplite who practiced the tactic of ekdrome, that is the irregular exit from the battle line."

i think it kinda makes sense judging how they fight, replaying with no OS tunnning+manual aim i realized they have tandem combos with one of them going in to attack(1 is the one with the plasma cannon will jump and do a charged shot while the one with the laser blade plungs you at the same time, the second one is the one with the plasma gun asault boost into you for a kick that does a mini stagger then the other plungs you after the stagger) little discovery bcs i didnt realized in my playthroughs
Most likely might be DLC as the ekdromoi isn't much larger than an ac. Tbh it's slightly bigger than the largest ac you can build. If we do get those they might be the first cores that operate like tank legs in that they remove the option for head units.
@@albertwesker295 They're like one and a half times the height and proportionally bulkier, mixing and matching would look pretty silly. But also story-wise the PCA craft don't HAVE parts the way ACs do, they're manufactured from the ground up as a whole machine.

Because it's an Autonomous Craft and a PCA Subject Guard. They were designed to guard PCA Territory only, so it's made sense for them to attack you because you're the intruder to their border. Seems the ships are just oversized and over armed APCs geared for surface police action.
@blastmole299 welcome to the universes of Gundam in regards to that
I think it's a usual mecha trope. Even the cheapest grunts in Gundam might outlive warships in a fight.
