This... is actually pretty genius for an IWBTG-like boss. The attacks are not only well-designed (though uber difficult) from a gamer standpoint, but also hilarious.
This game has the coolest boss fights of all time. It takes things so familiar to you and turns them up to the max in ways you never would have thought of.
If you pause, you can see that the fireworks come out of his feet, not the centre of his hitbox. So in the clip Sonic was upside down and the player was just above the fireworks, therefore above Sonic's hitbox.
I Wanna be the Boshy is in a whole different level. Not only Sonic but Solgryn too and the hidden boss Cheetahman... they all are really tough to beat. The hardest one tends to vary from player to player... in my opinion it's Sonic but just a little bit.

The hard part isent to dodge him, its to dodge him+bombs while still keeping control over hes movement. In this video sonic only flew in such a dodgebel way becouse the player keept control of it, thats the hard part. Also, arent you a bouse?
Sonic for some reason, isn't hard for me anymore, still tricky but not ridiculous. I don't know why people say he is harder than the final boss but that is their opinion :)
