Rats! I wish you had put a Lehman Russ next to the Matilda. Looks much smaller. When you build the MkIV, it would be correct with short 75mm gun. Does it make a difference, in game, if the crew is exposed?
Damn it, I nearly did that! I've got another video going up with the comparison of models from Perry Miniatures, Bolt Action, and Astra Militarum soon. In the meantime, I've just taken some comparison pics for you and posted them on my Facebook page here: facebook.com/skirmishgames/
Oh Jeeze, dad and lad for sure. Now I’m curious about a larger vehicle like the PzKwMkVI Tiger. Actually I’d rather adapt the Bolt Action vehicles for some house rules or OnePageRules version of 40k.
Modeling your crew out of the tank has no effect in game. Bolt Action is very loose with modeling rules, so you can usually just model your stuff in whatever way you think looks cool. The only thing most people care about is making sure your infantry squads and tanks are modeled with the right rifle and main gun, just so things aren’t confusing. Things like basing doesn’t matter either. For example, you can put three infantry models on individual 25mm bases and have them be a machinegun team, but you can also model them all on the same 60mm base. It’s a great way to get more variety out if your starter sets.
Also served late war for the Soviets and the ANZAC in New Guinea and Burma.
Great, thank you, that makes sense with the card now.

The Matilda was(is?) only 8’ tall, so it looks about right. Three guys in that turret. Must have been a squeeze.
Don't think I would every play Bolt Action. But I soooo want to build and paint the tanks for it. Maybe an army also!
Right now I build Matilda tank from Tamiya 1/48 scale. From Indonesia 🇮🇩
Nice!
