- German Beer-Drinking Music
This entertaining music of the Munich Hofbrauhaus is about as authentic a collection as can be had. All of it was recorded by Germany's most popular recording stars in Munich.
The songs need no explanatory notes. All are ideal for beer-drinking moments - or hours. All vocals are sung in German.
Ever since the days of King Ludwig and comely Lola Montez, Munich has enjoyed a special reputation. Every year, visitors from all over the world flock to the gay Bavarian city. The art collections there are impressive and invaluable, the concerts and operas renowned, the food superb and the scenery gorgeous. But above all these undeniable attractions stand the beer joints, and the good, rich Bavarian brew, the finest and most flavorful on earth.
Capitol presents the charming and convivial atmosphere of Munich's taverns as it has never previously been presented - in the highest of hi-fi on a long-play record. You don't have to know the language. A stein of Lowenbrau - or Budweiser - suffices.
Prosit!

Austria is heaven
son u aint kidding.
My Dad had this album growing up. Loved German and Italian music that was popular in his generation.
So sad that this is all disappearing and being demonized by PC cancel cultures all over the world. What happened to the burning desire for cultural diversity?
If somebody could find the sheet music I would be very appreciative
Meir auch.
im back at the oktoberfest
sad ....really sad !

fahrvegnugen!
all swedish thinks that germany is the best country in the world
Can somebody explain what ticks have to do with it? Google translate is giving me this for the second verse:
Every person has its own tick and its character.
One flies on clean shaven, the other on the beard.
One wants only football game, the other is the sausage.
I alone admit it, I'm always thirsty.
Just Google giving wrong Translations.
Could be a personality disorder "nervous tick".
In this context, a "Tick" is like a "quirk" in English. ;-)
Every person has their own quirks and character
One goes clean shave, the other has a beard
One wants only a football game, the other does not care
I alone admit it, I’m always thirsty
