I would truly love to adopt an older dog, I’m a senior myself and living on a fixed income. Unfortunately the expense is prohibitive with adoption fees, vet expenses and food. It breaks my heart to see the number of senior animals left on doorsteps because they’re old. This man and woman created something incredible, have grown the business and tapping into a niche where fundraising is doing great. People love their animals!! The sanctuary provides everything for their fosters and the seniors, I can’t get that here where I live.
It seems like they could grow their foundation to have more than one location! I almost think that is what their future hold! What a great place!
An incredible love story started and carried on by two people in love with dogs. Many thanks to these two people enlightened by a dream, which thanks to their intelligence, has become reality.
I hope they get a looot of donations!!!☺

i remember the story my vet told me one day for some reason he was late for work and when he got to the office the cow that greeted him every day was standing there his face was soaking wet with tears.

What a wonderful organization!!! I have 2 seniors (well, one is almost, She's 9) Stormy is 11. Before that I had Frosty, an Irish Wolfhound cross, who lived to be 13!! He was my "Heart dog" but I love my 2 seniors just as much! They are both healthy and love to play. I support Horse Plus Humane Society which is near you (in Hohenwald), they rescue dogs as well. Keep up the great work and blessings on all of you!❤🐶

I live with 3 senior dogs. The oldest is 17 years old and was my dead younger sister's dog. Next oldest is 15 years old and mine. I've had him since he was a pup, same as with the oldest. Youngest is now 10 years old and my brother's. I love them all. I'm glad that this woman and man have created a place for senior dogs. I've had dogs for years and all lived long lives so I must be doing something right. Happy trails to you and God bless.
If only ALL States would offer permanent Senior Foster options, shelters would no longer be burdened with Senior Dogs. Cost is the #1 deterrent to adopting Senior Dogs. " It IS for ME!" 😢❤😊

I adopted a 9 year old Norfolk Terrier. He passed in April just a few days after his 16th birthday. It was the best 7 years of my life and I hope his too. He was so loving and a friend to all. He loved his doggie step siblings and they loved him. He was just a joyful good boy. My remaining two dogs are seniors now, their care is expensive but they’re worth it. Don’t hesitate to adopt a senior dog, they’ll adore you for it!

So good that you do that..the oldies hardly get a pick..we are 80 years now..before we do the seem with old cats together with a good friend..a lovely woman..she died and we could do no more because our health..we have find homes for the cats..but we take 4 ourselves..great what you doing..lots off love from the Netherlands Rotterdam hug..❤❤
This is incredible. So many times i have seen videos of families abandoning their senior dogs. It just breaks my heart. I wish every state had a senior sanctuary. There is such a need. If there was one near me, i would love to volunteer. God bless you for all that you do. I wish i could afford to donate but with costs being what they are, i have all i can do to care for our 3 cats and 2 dogs. Luckily there are many folks that love dogs as much as you guys.
It's funny Christine mentioned age vs therapy! My mom at 82 was in an accident, messed up her shoulder. Talked Dr into surgery. During rehab she tore a muscle. The Dr said, I won't do surgery again! She's too old!!! I said, would you say that to someone who was 40? He said, no!!!!

When the needed a place, they received a large donation, when they had to move, they got a great place. When you give your control over, and follow the path, karma gives you what you need. Helping and receiving help!
That lady says that you just roll with what your given, change and adapt, and look at her go! What an inspiration to mankind!
11:29 over $5 million, and it came from the average $25 donations, that is about what I could afford most months and it doesn’t feel like much, but as it turns out, that’s enough.
When they were kicked out of their first place and ended up at the garden center, I believe that was a very stressful thing but it turned into a huge blessing.
All the blessings of the garden center! The green house, outside/inside area for fetch, the floral arrangement area for the hospital area, shopping carts for transport/walks!!!
They received the gift of a vet who wanted more from her practice. Truly beautiful!

Thank god that in the USA people get FREE medical care even if they are POOR so that the children/grandkids can still spend time with their Parents/Grandparents. unlike dogs that get snuffed out. imagine if Vet care was free how many dogs could spend more time with their families.
People have retirement homes so why not Man/Lady,s best friend ❤😅😊
