    Hi! No a juicer wont give you the same result at all. It will give you a nice shot of chlorophyll but some is left behind. The flesh left over from the juicer is fibrous and there is not much use for it.
    Thank you for watching.

      Hi. Thank you for watching. We use that chlorophyll in the culinary industry most of the time to bring green bright colors to green sauce or oil. For example a basil sauce. It can also be used to make green fresh pasta dough or to color a mash potato. You could also add it to a drink by just blending it into it. I hope that help

      Chlorophyll is a pigment in the membrane of a plants thylakoids used as a photosystem is photosynthesis. It doesn't have minerals or crazy healing factors, it's a pigment.
      That being said what is collected in this video isn't chlorophyll, it's just plant juice.

    doesn't heating the chlorophyll destroy the enzymes

    • @RogersPowell
      @RogersPowell  10 лет назад +1

      Hi. You might be right but I think it is not heated long enough in the process of making the chlorophyl and this is why it stay bright green. What result of it works very well for many food preparation. Thank you for watching!

    • @Schatten2712
      @Schatten2712 9 лет назад +4

      Rogers Powell Enzymes are extremely susceptible to denaturalization, even a minimal change in ph can entirely change a protein. Chlorophyll though, is not a protein, it's a pigment and though it is not as delicate as a protein, it readily oxidized in air so its use should be quick (between weeks or so) [Also, I don't really know why that occurs but in my experience it did occur, not just one time] (Though, I didn't make it for the cooking, actually, I don't know how I ended up here but anyway, it was still interesting and now I'm kinda hungry... and rambling a lot, sry for that...)

    cooking or boiling any green plant almost kills more than 95% of it's components. please never ever boil, you can just juice them, they have oxygen, when you boil the oxygen interacts with iron and magnesium in them and it becomes like aging , like our body when we age, means getting old, weaker. the extract should be made with (cold extract process ) not hot extract. just follow these steps till before boiling. Allah bless you all

      wangzi G so what do we do instead of boiling?

    • @zachburmaster5744

      @@mrgeography82 As he said in the video simmer, don't boil. The solvent (alcohol used) must have a lower boiling point than the plant's constituents being your extract so you can control the temperature. The alcohol is commonly used as it has a low boiling point while the extract (chlorophyll) would have a higher boiling point. So you need to keep the temperature at the boiling point of the solvent to boil it off but under the boiling point of the extract so it doesn't break or boil off and is left behind

      I also should add, since there is heat, there is little risk of the extract being damaged however, from what I've seen, it affects quality more than quantity. Most people concerned will spread the solution over a glass pan to decrease volume and therefore time and evaporate at room temperature

      Bro it's chlorophyll it's a substitute from eating greens instead you just put it in water and drink it if you're lazy and that's how it's made of course they're going to waste some stuff
