These are my preferences and comparisons of the Google Pixel Fold and the Oppo Find N2 after 1 month of using them both! This video tells you what my thoughts are 1 month in. There is are photo comparisons and my personal preferences so far. I updated to Android 14 Beta which improved my battery life a lot.

I was originally interested in getting a Find N or N2 before Google decided to drop that initial May 4th video, so this comparison was something I was looking forward to seeing! Thanks so much for watching. Yeah lots have asked about these two phones. I think they are the best in the market currently but this is oppos 2nd time around. After seeing the photos I think the oppo takes better ones right now. I need to shoot some video for the next video.
Great Vid! I ordered a Pixel Fold (be here around 22nd August!) But the Oppo I couldn't find anywhere in the UK, but I think they do look quite similar looking forward to my first foldable!
They do have the same form factor. The pixel is bigger, heavier and has better software. I do find that the find n2 doesn't get resold a lot. Thanks so much for watching.

Oppo doesn't have bad software at all. Google just has Google only features that give it the nod.
Dope vid GG. Just took the plunge and updated to the beta on my Fold. Y'all were not lying about the battery life! My battery life wasn't bad on 13 but it's really good on 14

Great video! The photos were so close to me that i couldn't call one a winner based on those either. Im watching this on my Vivo X Fold. I get not being a single phone user and going back and forth. Especially, when I am at home and just grab what's closer or not on the charger at the moment. The Google Pixel Fold has me excited about my foldables again.
I think the oppo took with more accurate colors... the tmobile photo was the true magenta. All other photos were more true in color to the oppo. The pixel wasn't bad but I didn't think it was close.
@@GadgetGoddess Thats something I wouldn't be able to tell from the video as far as color accuracy. It looked like Google likes to go brighter in some images but Oppo got the blue brighter in the one image from the beach area. Without knowing which is more color accurate, they went back and forth for me. The Oppo depth of field is quite something I noticed. Thanks for the insight. I feel like Oppo and Vivo kill it when it comes to cameras. I've been testing my Vivo X Fold vs Pixel Fold. I see why it's hard to pick between two sometimes.
Understood that's why I shared some clarity because I was there to witness it. Also I'm a cooler photo person I love Huawei and those photos were also cool. I did have a person text me the T-Mobile shot is what made them believe the oppo was probably closer to accurate. Fun to test all the foldables. Can you imagine only experiencing Samsung and now here comes pixel. You are so far ahead in this game now.
@@GadgetGoddess I can't imagine having only experienced Samsung. I know not everyone is willing to take the risk of importing and having to reinstall the Google Play Store if you do a reset and some of the more advanced thing that we do but I'm so happy I have taken the jump. Being able to talk about these folding devices having used more companies devices and understanding what the OEMs can and can't do software wise gives us huge advantages too. I can't wait for more coverage from you and our other #pixelfoldgang.

The 5x zoom on the Pixel Fold is best of all Foldables mine I'm getting 7 hours on screen time everyday. Running Android 14 beta. Happy belated Birthday Queen.

Geez I misread. I'm using Huawei watches. The latest oppo watch seems to only play nice work oppo phones

@@deekanemi610 I miss Huawei. I still have my mate x2 but it was so much work to get Google play services on it u don't want to get the 3. Plus the 3 doesn't have 5g
@@GadgetGoddess same here. I have the mate xs2. But my network drops from 4G to 2G when making calls. That was the deal breaker. If there is a way around this, I'm sticking to Huawei.
That sucks. My x2 gets 5g so I refuse to sell it.
Did you hear that the oneplus open might be closer to the find n2 design afterall?
I have read rumors that said they would be close in size. I also have read rumors that the one plus would be larger. Now I hear it's delayed due to them replacing the screen it will be released with.
LOVED the Find N2, and IMO it has the best hardware of any Android device BAR NONE. The only thing holding it back for me was the software, because while I do like ColorOS, like you said, after experiencing PixelOS your perception of any other OS will just be tainted. Also, GCam processing will always be superior.
Also, if you like Huawei watches, I highly recommend the Huawei Watch Buds if you can find 'em for a good price. The battery life is still great and you get the bonus convenience of always having earbuds on you. I ran that watch with the Find N2 as well and it was a helluva experience.
Thanks for the suggestion. I don't like the look of the Huawei watch buds as much as the GT 3 pro. I took a hit in battery life due to loving these watches so much.
If I could get the pixel software in the body of the oppo I'd be in heaven. Can't wait to see what the oppo find n3 brings. I've been asked to review the new flip but nothing compares to the razr flip experiences I've had with the 2023 and the 40 ultra.

@@GadgetGoddess Yesss Pixel with Find N2 form factor would be gold. Looks like Pixel made their fold a little closer to the Surface Duo's body, which was just a bit too wide for my liking, but at least with the Surface that guy was very light and SUPER thin.
Unfortunately though, the Find N3 was said to be getting a size increase (cover to 6.3" or so) which hurt my heart so much. I have pretty small hands so every mm matters to me. If you aren't too put off by a larger device, the OnePlus Open, which is rumored to just be the overseas rebranded Find N3, should have the best hardware of any foldable we've seen yet. Definitely exciting stuff!

The pixel is so much heavier than the oppo and the oppo was so close to perfection. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!
I need your advice, should I buy the oppo find n2 , keep my find N. Or wait for OnePlus open. I own a fold 4 and had the pixel fold.
Depends on your needs really. The oneplus has been rumored to be the same size as the oppo find n devices but other rumors say it will be bigger.
I have 2 sims and struggle to carry 2 devices with the same form factor. You have 2 phones do you have 2 sims? What's your use case? Does the oppo find n work well in your area? Did you like the size of the oppo or did you want something bigger?
If I wasn't doing tech videos I don't think the find n2 was enough of an upgrade from the 1. The oppo find n3 is coming as well so that might complicate your life. Why did you get rid of the pixel fold?
@@GadgetGoddess Thanks for replying, so I LOOOOOOVVVE the find N form factor had issues with speeds with T-Mobile. Brings my questions what settings are you using to get those speeds cause both finds have the same radio bands. I get like 20-30mbps on my fold or pixel I get 2-300mbps. I use one phone. I hate the outer display on the fold but the speeds are amazing. The pixel fold form is perfect but I couldn't justify 1800 when I could get fold 5 for 800. But I just started using the find N again and I'm thinking this is what I want just better data speeds. That's where the OnePlus Congress in should be fold like, oppo like. The find N is really meeting all needs really except data speeds
Location is a big factor when it comes to the oppo. I've sent my OG Find N to friends for them to try. Some had good Internet others not so much. In my area 5g is very established. In all fairness I am on WiFi most of my day I work in one state live in another. During my hour commute I don't have Internet issues on either phone.
You might notice I use a lot of imports on this channel and it's my preference. The oppo find n and the oppo find n2 might have the same bands but the n2 is faster and more reliable.
The Samsung is unusable for me after I used vivo oppo xiaomi and now pixel. There is no way I could go back to a skinny foldable even if it is free.
I ordered the Pixel Fold on AliExpress (I'm in Australia so we don't get it normally) in June for an August 2nd delivery and was excited and spent over $500 on cases, screen protector etc when last night they decided to cancel my order for no reason and won't answer my emails.
So unfortunately I'll never get the chance to try it, but I'm loving my Find N2 😊
So sorry to hear this. The pixel is truly a unique experience. May I ask how much this phone was on AliExpress? I've done my share of shopping there as well. You may be able to get one in Australia don't give up.

Love the Pixel fold, but with them being so close in certain areas I don't think the Pixel fold is worth £800 more than tha Oppo Find N2, £958 or £1799 for the Pixel so the money difference is my decider.
Fair enough and the oppo find n2 is an older device so the price should be cheaper. I'm excited to see what the one plus open is bringing to the table. It's rumored to be cheaper than both. Thank for watching

From my understanding is not possible. I haven't used a Samsung watch in years. I wear Huawei and now have a xiaomi watch. Depending on the watch I get anywhere from 1 week to 2 weeks battery life on those.

Whenever I am off WiFi and traveling using 5G is when I experience the most heating/battery drain on all my Tensor G2 pixels. The modem is sus lol.😂

@@GadgetGoddess The thing I miss the most is the fast charging. I can charge the Find N2 up in about 35 to 40 minutes each morning. I have to take more time with the Razr.
