    Kobe played for every single fan.
    He never wanted to sit out a game for the fear of his fans not watching him after paying their hard earned money to go see him.
    No player does that today, no one.

      You're not very smart.
      Kobe out worked everyone.
      His ego is what made him a 5 time champion. He obsessed over the game of basketball like no other. He mastered his craft. Millions of dollars or not he didn't have to shoot 100+ free throws everyday before every game. He earned all of that money.

      He played on loaded teams for half of his career. When he didn't have Shaq, Rice, Fox, Fisher, Horry, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, etc., he proved that he could not carry a team. The 81-point performance was disgraceful and inefficient. Chris Mihm shot a higher FG % for the game, yet he took 38 fewer shots than Kobe, who hogged the ball and stat padded. Luka showed the world how you put up an historic performance (70+ while being a team player). Kobe's ego got the best of him in the end. There was no reason to flaunt his wealth by taking a private helicopter to a middle school basketball game.

    Dear Kobe, what a tragic event! It deeply saddens me. Thank you for sharing your time with us. It has been an incredible experience watching you play basketball throughout your life. I hope the younger generation can learn from you, especially from your mamba mindset. You have been a tremendous inspiration to me and the entire world. My condolences go out to your beloved family. It must be incredibly difficult for them to sleep without you and your daughter by their side. I hope you are enjoying your time in heaven...
    Your Lovely Friend…

    I went to go be there and see it yesterday (the 10th), and it's so easy for me to leave my phone out of situations to just be in the moment. SO many of my moments in life are not on a camera. But I'm going to return and capture THIS moment in time (also on another day that is significant to me, in addition to the set 2-8-24) because this is one memory that, although _most_ of my memories are stored almost immortally in my memory bank, I would love to revisit visually time and time again. I Love Kobe So, So Much! And none of our hearts will accept that he's gone. That alone displays what his presence meant. And still means to us. Mamba Forever! 💜

    This still doesn’t feel like something that actually happened.
    I remember my mom calling me from church and her telling me the usher heard online that Kobe had passed…
    I remember telling her “y’all can’t believe everything that’s online. If something like that actually did happen, the internet would be blowing up!”
    Sure enough, I opened up Twitter, and it indeed… was blowing up.
    Needless to say, it’s been 💩 ever since.

    • @jaust9077
      @jaust9077 3 месяца назад

      Can i ask a serious question? Do you mean by giving him props meaning that you HAVE to put him in the top 3 of all time? This is the problem with these GOAT discussions. Kobe is CLEARLY A top 10 player in nba history. Maybe top 5 but when someone argues that Lebron, Duncan or Bird might be better we aren't giving him "true props". Dudes a legend. But not everyone has to have him in their top 3.

    Lakers fans love Kobe so much that they still didn’t embrace LeBron in purple and gold uniform. Still after winning championship and all of this years. Of course this is delusional but it’s just show the love to Kobe Bryant. Incredible and painful moment will happen tonight. Lakers please beat the Nuggets too 💜💛
