    I have two of these - for my purposes they are virtually useless.
    They will not charge a battery which is more than 50% below its nominal voltage.
    It's necessary to select the charge programme manually so they can't be used with a timeswitch or in an area prone to power cuts.

    We use this kind of chargers. We have 4 off them. And they do what they should. Cheap but good. Even AGMs gets topload without problems.

      I have four of these for keeping car motorcycle and garden machinery batteries charged.
      Three of the four have failed, they all fail in the same way, press the mode button and nothing happens - useless rubbish.

    Never ever plug a trickle charger/maintainer into the power source before you clamp it to the battery. You can get a power surge that can blow out your main computer board etc.
