Clarence is an American animated television series created by Skyler Page for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around the title character and his two best friends, Jeff and Sumo. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed the series at Cartoon Network Studios as part of their shorts development program in 2012. he series focuses on the daily life of Clarence Wendle, a fun-loving and spirited 10-year-old boy, and his best friends: Jeff, who is the more intellectual type, and Sumo, who often uses drastic measures when solving problems.

Clarence is a nice comfort show. Like, I actually have a lot of fondness for episodic slice-of-life shows like this and The Looney Tunes Show

I love how last time they were all excited for the dark school shooter esque episode but now they love how mostly wholesome Clarence is
It really is a weird outlier of the show that grabs people attention even if you are not a fan. I was shocked at how off the rails that episode was bc Clarence went from school shooter to full on manic by dressing up as his doll and fighting the kids.

Never understood the hate for this show. This cartoon really captured the randomness of childhood and that’s why I loved it.
It’s mostly because of Clarence himself sometimes.😅 Sometimes he does stuff that reasonably gets on your nerves, like the time he stole Jeff’s fries, and when he forced a kid to play with his creepy doll and got him hurt.

Nowadays if a cartoon doesn’t have an overarching, deep plot, it’s not well received.
Man for me it was the opposite, if it had a deep plot that was important between episodes I just didn't like it

Clarence is the most underrated children’s show. I think it’s enjoyable for anyone willing to give it a chance, and it’s definitely one of my favourite shows that have come out in “recent times”.
Fun Fact: The kid at the end was, in fact, NOT an animation error and he's just canonically some sort of crazy psychic freak

My fav VA fun fact is that Percy, the little pale, totally round, high pitched speaking kid, is voiced by Roger Craig Smith who’s over 100 voices in Regular Show, Ezio from Assassins Creed, Batman, Sonic, and Mirage from Apex Legends. Percy has to be one of my favorite performances from him cause it sounds nothing like his usual work

This is one of the only cartoons I’ve ever seen to fully capture how messy & chaotic & fun childhood feels. Stuff like Craig of the creek & Hey Arnold also comes to mine, but Clarence just hits different
My favourite episode is genuinely Clarence’s Millions. Just wreaking havoc around the school and causing the breakdown of an invented economy

Pretty date with a Girl is actually one of the first eps i sat down and actually watched. Like me, my bro and our friend would be watching cartoons on the tv and when Clarence come on we would change it and have yet to give it a chance. But this time I was alone and I just let it play and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Really changed my mind of how I saw the show
