- Quidam was such a beautiful show. It inspired me enough to wish to be in the circus. The decade I spent performing with the Cirque du Soleil has been a great pleasure. Thank you to everybody who contributed to making this wonderful journey possible.

I saw Quidam during it's 2002 North American. I was only 10. Little did I know seeing this show would have such a huge impact on me and turn me into a Cirque fan for life. This is by far my favorite show. Thank you for doing this act such justice.

I watched Quidam in the Big Top in Lisbon, 2008, and a few years later in its arena format, also in Lisbon.... The best show of Cirque, i really miss Quidam. Thank you for sharing this amazing video!

Hi Cory! I'm one of the gals you waited on yesterday! This is so awesome! Living your first dream! I have this soundtrack and this is my favorite song on it. I didn't remember the name of the show and never saw it but I love Cirq music so I've bought several the soundtracks in the past! I'm a singer/songwriter (check out my youtube channel 😄) and had a band and always thought it would be fun to sing for Cirq. It was great meeting you!

Hey, you wouldn’t happen to know why the song used in the live performance is so different than the soundtrack version do you? The live version has singing while the soundtrack doesn’t.

The music you hear was played live. As the original piece had been written 20 years before, over time it evolved, had different musicians and adapted to the specific act you see here. Plus a live musical performance is always going to have different qualities. Thank you for watching. :-)
I believe the soundtrack version is whats originally made for the show, and the the music thats used in the show is based on the soundtrack, and the compositions are so different probably based on musician interpretation to make itself more distinct as well as to make the music flow better with the show
I watched Quidam in Singapore back in 2006! Were you the one performing?
Are they still doing quidam somewhere? This is my favorite cirque show of all time and i never got to see it in person
no. Quidam is retired, sadly!
