I really enjoyed listening to Caleb describe his mentoring the guys. One of the things my dad did was mentor young men. He did it in his AF career as well after his retirement. At his funeral several men he had mentored over the years spoke to us about the impact dad had made in their lives...the place they had been to where they were when my dad died. We kids were blown away at the stories we heard. My dad did for those guys what he had done for us...encouraged, called them out on their thoughts, behaviors & choices and most importantly dad let them all know they were valuable in the world & they all had it in them to be the best. It was amazing & humbling to me to see these guys all so different because my dad walked with them & believe in them. Chief...Thank You

This world is getting smaller and wilder at the same time.. Good to hear life-changing stories about my friend and teammate Sergeant Rock, Jerry Sowles from Osan AB, ROK.. Chief Etheridge, great encouraging and inspiring story from your beginning to how you continued after your retirement from active duty.. Thanx4 being a good neighbor. HA[HOOYAAH and ALOHA]..

So refreshing to hear Caleb had the ability to see through the inertia and started pushing the pipeline forward!

I'm following the 26-week AFSOC fitness program (just Google it if you wanna see it). It's helped me tremendously, but the beginning standards are somewhat high, so if your fitness level isn't great, I'd focus on doing 45 mins of calesthenics every day with 30-45 mins of cardio every other day to get started. You can use some of those AFSOC program workouts as part of your calesthenics. Try to get a healthy mix of all muscle groups, and maybe even break it down by muscle group (i.e Core, Biceps, chest, back, etc.). Hope this helps!

5 years? You shouldn’t have to wait that long to retrain. Are you in a different branch?
