I shut a job down yesterday......everyone was pissed at me.....but the wall had collapsed once, and although I wasn't in charge....it got shut down, all the big shots got involved, and three hours later the problem was taken care of and we were back to work. I'm glad it wasn't a Boeing job site,!!
this is the same way my brother died 20 years ago the owner just got a 10.000$ fine no jail time. then he promise to pay for my brothers funeral and went back on his word we took him to court but the judge said verbal aggrements are not legal binding.

That's messed up! Safety really is important then comes production.

Unfortunately, it's the cost that stops the erection of shoring. Trench boxes are ok to 8 feet but anything deeper they can fail.
