Then I got java edition for my laptop running an older version of windows and I was trying to just do the simple act of making a piston work and I was like wtf?! Mumbo's clueless is the peak of my Redstone. Two way flying machines don't work in Bedrock so I have to use Block Swappers to switch the pistons, and that part caused the most issues.
another way to do it that i know very well and use all the time and is always consistent, the 3:6:1 ratio. how to build it is you have your 2 sticky pistons, like always, and then you make a 3x3 platform off to the side of them, you have a 3 tick repeater running into the first sticky piston ( the one in the back) and a 4 tick repeater with a 2 tick repeater running into the second sticky piston. The last row on the 3x3 is just regular redstone dust. flick the lever to active all the redstone and you have a double piston extender.
Yes, I think that was pretty obvious. That’s literally why he loves target blocks, because redstone dust connects to it. At least I think that’s why he loves target blocks, and I am fairly certain.
I don't play BE so I don't know if it has or hasn't but... I suspect that unless the inconsistent redstone pulse thing has been fixed, there's nothing that makes it better than Java Redstone requires more consistency than anything else, so... if it has, maybe it can interest Mumbo more than the create mod currently is but part of me doubt that anything but the create mod interests Mumbo in Minecraft right this moment ^^' So... has the inconsistent redstone behaviour been fixed?
@@ArgentumEmperio ... I guess the random redstone hasn't but stuff like observers have really changed for the better It's true that he's probably not gonna try it again cuz the create mod is way more interesting. But I wanted a flying machine. So I got creative and tried making one. AND I DID IT! Was (I guess) 2 hours to make the smallest possible flying machine. It has 7 blocks. Easy.
Me: how to make a creeper farm Me after 1 hour of building it: why the hell it didnt worked?! Me after 10 mins of brainstorming: oh, i forget the 'bedrock'
0:14 in recent versions of mcbe, pistons is twice the speed compared to this clip (but still no qc or sticky pistons spitting blocks, and twice slower pistons than java)
me too and I tried to make 2 pistons move at once for myself years ago like this 1:14 only to get back to minecraft years later right here and realise I could've just done it with one piece of redstone
The stonecutter wasn't always just for decoration. In the early days of Minecraft Pocket edition(I'm talking before they removed the Nether Reactor Core old, btw), it was used as a crafting table for stone blocks. In fact, the ONLY way to make stone slabs, bricks, staircases, etc., was on a stonecutter.
Me: has been playing mcpe for a really long time Mumbo: Figures out redstone faster than I figured out that dirt is useless Edit: all of the people replying are saying things like terraforming and scaffolding. I was like 7 years old. I wasn't going to be terraforming. I wasn't going to be building huge structures. I probably made a dirt hut with no door. I was 7 years old and on pocket edition.
To mine and then only have an inventory full of dirt is what i meant. No room for tools, chests, crafting tables to make tools and chests, and i just held on to that inventory full of dirt.
Victoria Eide Berg as a bedrock player, I cringed when he used hoppers in the 3x3 piston door, because ethoslab made 3x3 piston door years ago with a hole in the middle, and it worked on bedrock! I’ve used the one ever since. Also, imagine what his reaction would be to a nether reactor core XD
Same! I didn't know redstone doesn't redirect into pistons in Java. But one thing I am EXTREMELY happy they changed is that observers detect piston retraction and extension. Even to me, a person that's been doing bedrock redstone for a few years now, that seems really weird.
@@bryanfongo327 Yes but there worked because there was a bugs trust me every update that comes fixes some if these bugs and when after the update non of my redstone will work
Nice thing about Bedrock I can make a feed loop that allows me to access my crafting table, and then a furnace and then an anvil, or I can make a feed loop with 20 different furnaces and they all stay on the whole time, bad thing about Bedrock is there is no quasi connectivity and t flip flops are gigantic and annoying, so jeb doors with hidden redstone are oversized spaghetti mazes, and the biggest issue is that for some reason, the timing on literally everything is inconsistent so you have to always program in longer delays, which makes everything larger slower and more resource intensive, if you actually want stuff to work, and if you don't program that time in properly, it's very prone to just destroy itself entirely.
I managed a 13 block piston extender in mcpe, and though it takes forever to build, once you figure it out there is kind of an infinitely expandable design that only works on mcpe. It is weird to think that mumbo struggled to build a simple 3 piston extender
I remember watching Mumbo's 3x3 piston door tutorial, and trying to recreate it on bedrock edition at 1:00 in the morning. I couldn't understand why it wasn't working, which was infuriating.
I hate it I passed weeks making a very compact and fast without air in the circuit 4x4 vault piston door only to found out when the 30% comes all the circuit is destroyed
I remember playing MCPE about 4 years ago in it’s baby stage... no redstone, no hunger, only zombies, skeletons, spider and creepers (also zombie pigmen), tiny worlds, no caves, nether reactor cores, nether fortress/castle thingy... and alot of other stuff... i just love thinking back at minecraft and how it has changed...
@@annihilus3681 Oh my god I remember that! Do you remember that weird "Nether" they had where it was just a block of netherack, like 10 mad zombie pigman, and quarts and glowstone thrown around on the floor?
Its not that confusing!!! *ITS WAY CONFUSING* Edit: wow never gotten many likes before (im serious) Oh and btw the secret of making a Double Piston Extendor in PE/Bedrock etc. Is these ticks 3 6 0 Go watch The Bow Tie Man hes a Redstone PE Master
My favorite little thing that I happen to just throw together one day in PE has to be my pop-up dispenser trap. Flush to the ground and it's almost impossible to see the pressure plate. I collect so much loot from mobs that get killed just overnight wandering on to it, I'm kind of thinking about attempting to implement it into some type of farm.
To Mumbo: I learned how to fix the inconsistency in the double piston extender: Double the repeater ticks. (also this is my schematic for it): |SP|SP| | |R4| |RD| |R4| |R4| |RD|R2|RD| |RD|RD|LV| SP: Sticky Piston | R# = repeater with # of tick delay | RD = Redstone Dust | LV = Lever
The stone cutter was actually a block used to craft things made of stone since Mojang couldn't fit all of the coding into one block. (The crafting table.) after Mojang coded all crafting recipes into the crafting table instead of removing the stone cutter, they just removed its functionality and left it for decoration.
Hayden Cash Dude.. Nostalgia... I remember I kept up with all the MCPE updates... remember when they first removed the round buttons on the controls and everyone freaked out before realizing it was better? another way to do it that i know very well and use all the time and is always consistent, the 3:6:1 ratio. how to build it is you have your 2 sticky pistons, like always, and then you make a 3x3 platform off to the side of them, you have a 3 tick repeater running into the first sticky piston ( the one in the back) and a 4 tick repeater with a 2 tick repeater running into the second sticky piston. The last row on the 3x3 is just regular redstone dust. flick the lever to active all the redstone and you have a double piston extender.

The stonecutter wasn't always just for decoration. In the early days of Minecraft Pocket edition(I'm talking before they removed the Nether Reactor Core old, btw), it was used as a crafting table for stone blocks.
