I love the sound and feel of Milt Hinton's playing(and all of the bassists are great on this video); he could hang with the best of them nowadays, maybe even still show them a thing or two from what I see and hear, on this video. Way to go Milt! 9-16-24.

Bass, drums, and piano (and voice) -- what more do you need, for the blues? I like a saxophone and a trumpet, but this recording proves that all you really need is the rhythm section. 😊
Incredible concert, but I wince every time Bobby hits the bodies of the basses. I mean, he’s doing it lightly and I have no issue with drumming on the strings…but the wood? Just me?
Everyone's a critic, and everyone has an opinion. Isn't this half-hour interlude with the "atrocious" camera work so much better than staring at the speaker or your phone? I think the complaint here is ungracious.
